Any suggestions on what foods can be pureed and any story the any mom would like to share. I have been pureeing fruits and veggys for a few months now. I have been using lemon juice in the fruits and they still turn brown.

lemon juice doesnt work. i worked in food service in a nursing home for three years and we never found anything that worked except thickener. not cornstarch. actual foor thickener. corn doesnt puree worth a darn but peas, green beans, and most meats do. on the meats if you add broth to it then their bread it wont be runny just be carefull not to make it too thick.

I did the same thing. Once a week I would get all of her food made and freeze it is trays.

Hi Robin. I've always prepared home made baby food... Here's a great website that I often used (my 11 month old is now on table food). The site tells you how to prepare and store meals for your infant.

My daughter did purees for a short time. I would puree fruits and veggies after steaming them (pears, apples, peaches, green beans, squash, carrots...). I bought freezer trays that come with a cover. That way you can freeze whatever you won't use right away. I would puree food once a week or so. When you're ready to use some you just pop them out like ice cubes and stick them in the refrigerator the night before or warm them in the microwave to use immediately.
