im estatic! sunday night to my amazement my daughter weed for the 1st time in her potty:) she haven't been potty trained at all...she just simply undressed herself fetched her potty and i just watched how she went about quietly ...she showed me her wee and i obviously made a fuss about clapping, kissing and telling her how good she is....she was excited ii put on a panty and then she weed the 2nd time however she 4got to pull down her panty this time lol....she's getting there

i was pretty cruisey with it and made it a game on the weekends then as she became more successful i added a day then she didnt feel overwhelmed and then eventually she didnt need nappies at all.

i started both my kids when they were 2. kids dont like change just like adults dont so they look at you to teach them things.

I started my kids when they showed the signs that they were ready to start. My 3rd child started the earliest because she wanted to do what her siblings were doing. There are lots of resources out there that tell you what the signs are. Some that my kids showed were they wanted to sit on the potty. They understood the word potty, they could stay dry for 2-3 hours at a time, and the sign that gave me the biggest clue is when they were dirty they came and told me to change them. Hope that helps.

u can start whenever u want... introduce it to her, if shes not ready she wont do it... there really isnt a "right" age to do it at... every child is different
