My son is 18 months old. This is the second time that he has done this and it really needs to stop. After he wakes up after a nap he will rip his diaper off in the crib. The first time I didn't think anything of it but today he managed to pee all over the bed. He will also tug at it, if its too full for him and wants to be changed. Any advice? Should I get a diaper cover? Is it time to potty train? Thanks.

He is telling you that he is ready to use the potty and that takes a lot of time to do!

I put my son in a onsey. He can take off his cloths, but he can't unbutton the onsey yet and he is 2 yrs old. Also if you are keeping him in a zip up PJs try putting a safety pin through the zipper and attach to the PJs...then they can't unzip PJs at all.

i would pull out the potty chair and put ihim on the big potty with one of those inserts and see if he enjoys either or both...it could be a sign that he doesn't like the wetness...its worth a shot...perhaps get a few books from the library to read to him and one for you to guide you...all the best

Duck tape! Lol I know strange but honestly just tape the tabs shut it worked for my friend till her son learnt how to say seated on a potty and pull down his own pants.

We have tried shorts or pants and he knows how to take them off. I usually keep him in sleep n plays but the weather has been too hot lately.

He clearly doesnt want to wear diapers, well wet ones at least lol if he can wake up from bed time or nap time with a dry diaper i would definitly give it potty training a shot. otherwise make sure hes wearing shorts or pants when hes in bed so he cant take his diaper off.
