So i've been trying to look up online the simplest way to sanitize nipples, pumps, and pacifiers. I heard boiling things sanitizes them but i also learned that boiling pacis make them sticky. Plus I dont at the time have a separate pan for specifically boiling baby supplies. Any ideas or advice for stuff that worked for you?

I NEVER sterilised anything, i simply washed them in really hot salty water, if the bottle needed a scrub i used a couple of teaspoons of salt and a little bit of water it gets rid of any smells and I did that with all of mine from birth and the doctors and nurses never complained,

Hi. To sterilize my sons bottles and dummy i used Miltons anti-bacterial tablets. Its easy you just put 2 tablets into a container of 4 litres put bottles and dummies in and after a minimum of 15 minutes they are sterilized. My son is 15 months old and i havent had any issues with using these tablets. You just have to wash the bottles in warm soapy water and rinse before adding them to solution. Hope this helps.

All you have to do is boil them. It only takes about 2 minutes to sanitize the bottles and nipples so they shouldn't get sticky. You don't have to have a separate pan to sanitize either. Just use a clean pot.

If the pacifier is a silicone pacifier, it wont make a difference, only latex ones get sticky. I boil mine frequently, i've never had an issue. I find most pacifiers are silicone these days.
