Don't get me wrong I looooooooovvvvvvvveeeeeeee being a mom!! I love every minute of being with my children.But at the same time I don't go out much, don't have many friends nowadays, and really don't do anything...I go to church sometimes but I still don't make friends :( What do you do to keep your sanity???

go over to his friends house and converse with the other moms or dads... I'm sure they might be stay at homers to and would like to have someone else to talk to... My son met a little girl 2 houses down and out of the blue I went over to her house and struck up a conversation with her mom and now we are really close!!! Or if your dying to get out of the house go somewhere that is fun for you and your kids... bookstores with someone who reads to the kids and you get coffee and a little quite or a play house for the kids and talk with the other mom and dads...

I think keeping busy helps I love to read, but for the MUM adult interaction join a playgroup/mothers group I got 1 fantastic friend from mothers group 7 yrs on and were still friends, good luck

Go crazy once in a while. Just pack up the kids and yourself and do that one thing that you always say no to. Like an adventure. You and the kids need an adventure even if it's just for a few hours to a day. Whatever you do don't sit!!! Just keep moving. Make it simple, not stressfull. Go to a lake and go swimming or fishing. Look up your local events and find something in there. Go somewhere a few hours away and go hiking. Don't sit, keep moving, and don't think too much about whatever it is, just do it!!

I'm pretty much exactly the same. I'm to the point that I'd rather stay at home than go out though. DS and I play a lot when he isn't playing with the neighborhood kids. I have my shows and books. The biggest thing is to do things for yourself. On the weekends, dh will watch ds so I can get away, even if it's to the park to read. I hope you figure something out!! Good Luck!!
