if my daughers grandma doesn't mind watching her for a few hours, my husband and i may go on a date night. or we'll go to the nxt town over for some lunch or dinner, with our child, or sometimes i can get him to take me to my favorite mexican resturant, with our baby, or she can sometimes be watched over, but i dont mind taking her. other then that, i wait for my husband to stop working in the garage so we can just sit in the living room.

Before we have our son, we use to out all night long, plan to go somewhere (beach, or any escapades).. but now that we have our little Tasi who is just 10months old, YES we miss our life before we had him but we easily adjusted to the changes. We love to be with our son. He is just so gorgeous and entertaining. Though we can go out if we want to coz my husbands aunties can look after our baby boy we still chose to just stay at home. Sometime if its a beautiful night then we will go for a walk. And if its a beautiful weekend, the 3 of us will go for a drive somewhere and have a nice dinner... being parents are awesome.. NO REGRETS

We change. Some Saturdays is "date night" we put Riley to bed and then play video games, watch a movie, share a special meal/dessert, other Saturdays we have friends come over for game night, a few drinks, Other Saturdays we go to bed early and sleep in and do nothing. You have to re-invent your Saturday's :). If you enjoy reading books, start a book and ready a chapter every Saturday :).

We have all our friends over for dinner on the weekends, and on Friday nights we usually all go out to dinner together. We have a great restuarant that call us their VIPs... they love our daughter, they fit us in even if they are fully booked and the staff go out of their way to help us and accomodate the pram! We book dinner around the baby and when everyone has dinner at our house our friends are really understanding when dinner isn't served until late. We have a great friend group and our daughter is the centre of that which is wonderful. We are very lucky in that sense. Our weekends are full of friends and food !!!

Me n my husband enjoy staying home we watch movies order food or depending what we decide to eat, I cook... and sometimes we even have a few drinks together..esp. in the winter we don't like going out, that's when we catch with our movies. I think it depends a lot what your patner enjoys too, lucky for we both enjoy doing the same stuff, so we have no problem staying home with the kids.

Well my 13 month old went to stay at his grandparents last night (Friday night) and I was passed out by 9:00 and just woke up at 8:30. I'm only 22 and of my friends were pretty much knocking down my door trying to get me to come out with them for the night, so i turned my phone off and locked the doors and hibernated. Most weekends consist of catching up on sleep and enjoying dad being home :) We'll have lives outside of our kids again--all too soon they'll be teenagers who wont want anything to do with us on the weekends.
