MY SON IS 3 YEARS OLD AND HE IS UNSTOPPABLE, SO THE DOCTOR ADVICED ME TO ENROLL HIM ON SCHOOL THIS YEAR. I'M KINDDA NERVOUS CUZ HE IS VERY ACTIVE AND I'M AFRAID THAT THE TEACHER WOULD NOT KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH HIM OR THE REST OF THE KIDS. BUT, I;M ALSO EXCITED CUZ IT'S LIKE HE IS MAKING ANOTHER STEP FOR HIS INDEPENDENCE. I CAN PICTURE MYSELF THAT MORNING GETTING HIM READY FOR SCHOOL, FIXING HIM BREAKFAST. HAVE YOU SEND ANY OF YOUR KIDS TO SCHOOL YET? HOW WAS THE FIRST DAY LIKE?

We just sent my stepson to school this year. His first day at preschool, I was worried because he's so attached to us, he normally doesn't like to be left even at the baby sitters... But we had psyched him up about going to school and being a big boy. When they called this name at orientation (or open house, whatever you wanna call it) he just left us without even saying goodbye. Almost broke my heart. I think the first day of school is harder for the parents than the children, if you get them ready for it. I say just keep talking about it, get him excited. He'll make friends, get to play on the playground, yadda yadda, and you'll take it worse than he will. Remember to be brave, momma, it's hard!!! Hope I helped.
