I dont have sex very often cause I am scared that it will make me go into preterm labour! But I did yesterday and it wasnt hard or anything! Ever since my croutch area feels real sore and I have been getting more contraction type feelings! Has anyone else gone through this or is it just me being paranoid?

as long as your doctor clears you for sex you should be fine. just know that the hormones in semen can produce contractions, thats why they say to have sex at the end, to bring on labor. pain after is normal in most cases.

I would say always go with you "gut" if something doesn't feel right it probabely isn't.. Also if your somewat at risk never be on the bottom.. My first pregnancy we had lots of sex not problems my second one i miscarried at 25 weeks so my last one (with my daughter) i was just very carefull if ever something didn't feel right i would just end it right there.. good luck hope everything goes well!!

Well that makes me feel somewhat better! I know that someone else experienced it too! Cause I never had sex throughout my first pregnancy so this is all new to me! If it doesnt stop by tomorrow or so then I will go get checked out! Thanks!

I cramped like that even the day after. If it is making you uneasy...check with your OB. or midwife. But my cramps were different than contraction pains. I know that I did experience more braxton hicks afterwards than normal...

They doc calls it high risk cause I have had miscarriages before this pregnancy but everything has been normal! So I have no restrictions other than taking it easy and dont strain myself! I am trying to hold off til my appointment with my midwife on the 2nd! Hopefully it will all go back to normal soon!

this is the day after though! So then it is normal? I hope that is all it is cause pregnancy makes me scared! This is my second pregnancy my first no problems at all! I am 6 and a half months! But thanks it is reassuring though!

Oh...if you are near full term do be careful it can put you into labor...but that might be a good thing!!

How far along are you? I had sex with my husband up until almost 9 months! As long as your Dr. says it is okay for you (if you have had a normal pregnancy and are not high risk) you should be fine. The cramping is normal. Your uterus and cervix contract during orgasm and during sex...that is just normal biology. Sex itself is a good thing during pregnancy as long as you can find a comfortable position...lol! As long as you are okay with it and your man is okay with it ( he won't poke the baby in the head!) and your Dr is okay with it keep on... Be Happy!!
