my daughter just turned two. she's used her potty 3 times. once for my mom like months and months ago.. once for my best friend wen she was babysitting then once finally for me.. but she wont even sit on it all the sudden last month or so.. wen i tell her to sit on her potty she screams no and covers her face and cries. idk why. idk wat to do to at least get to to sit on it again... i was potty trained by the time i was two. and since she's done it before i know she knows she's supposed to. any ideas to help? thanks.

My daughter also went through a recession stage. A lot of things that have helped is maybe using the potty with her, constantly ask if she wants to go, give her a lot of praise for going. It will take awhile, but when she's ready, she'll use it.

yeah i've tried that w/ the big potty. w and w/ out the baby seat on top. shes scared of it. lol. wont let me get her near it. she just likes to flush it after me..

y not try getting the infant toilet seat which sits on your toilet. maybe then she will feel like a big girl like her mommy? she may think shes too big for the potty now even tho its a hard thing to do for parents to get the potty training experience over. but y not try the infant seat to fix to your toilet maybe then she may think different.

My son got potty trained by 2 1/2 and started at 2 so it takes a little bit. Like you said, she knows she has to do it cause she's done it before. Have you tried telling her that she can do something that usually doesn't get to do if she does it for you an amount of times.



I told my son we would go to the waterpark (something we do once in a blue moon) only if he did #1 and #2 in the potty not in the underwear. He did it for 2 days straight and we went to the park. I also had him pick out his own underwear, which he loved so he didn't wanna get them wet or dirty.



idk but bribing usually works. lol.



good luck with that, just dont give up.
