I'm a single mom working as an infant teacher and my son goes to work with me in the three year old class. Sometimes it gets hard to keep it together. His dad comes around whenever he feels, spuratic. I hope I spelled that right. I just don't want him to have the life I did. So I try to tell him I love him a million times a day and spend time together everyday doing something he likes.

Thats great that you do that but you dont want him to feel your mothering him all the time, this is when some children become too clingy or rebelious against their parents I know I certanly did.

well thats the best you can do just make sure he knows you are there for him no matter what and doing what he wants is a good thing makes him feel important too good luck with everything
