Animal magnets for the fridge! Those are fun!!! We always do toothbrushes in stockings, and girls love hairbrushes... Little packs of flashcards (animal pictures are the funnest). Crayons, stickers, and bath toys... Maybe a sippy cup or two. Maybe get her some big girl undies??? She will probably potty train before next christmas. If you don't already have one, a new forward facing car seat (pink of course). I know my son loved getting things he knew like the packaged mum mums. A few of those really made him happy to find in his stocking! of course small board books are great. But new shoes- for some reason little ones are infatuated sith shoes!! I know all of these things are very common, but you know what they say, the first christmas/ birthday party is more for the mommys and daddys than for the little ones! A simple suggestion is give her a few things that she knows, so she can be excited! Also things that make lights and noises are a big hit! Good luck!! I wish i had a girl to shop for (isn't it obvious?)

Thank you guys so much!!! I didn't think of giving her things she already liked/knew. She loves mum mums too!!! Now I'm brain storming. Thanks so much.

we got my daughter some board books, i think she might have gotten a beanie baby and shoes. thought there was something else but can't remember (almost 2 years ago) not all that educational (except the books) but maybe it will help you think of something else... you could try dvds if you are Ok with them like maybe baby Einstein or preschool prep company
