I need suggestions on how to get rid of my stretch marks.. I had my son almost 3 months ago and I've been using Palmer's Cocoa Butter Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks every night and day since then and still no results. Does anyone know of anything that's not TOO expensive that helps at least a little??

I have something you can try. It sounds kind of weird but it has been working for me and isn't too expensive but there is quite a few steps. I started getting stretch marks during puberty and have tried every kind of cream, oil and whatever else there is with nothing working. When I got pregnant with my son I thought I would get away with no stretch marks but around 7 1/2 months I got the first and by the time he was born my stomach was covered. After he was out and I could see my whole stomach again I realized how bad they were and have been trying everything all over again. I got those bars of soap from the Body Shop and I use them in the shower, when I get out I put cocoa butter on them then put either vaseline or vicks on a cloth and kind of rub it in. If I have time during the day and before I go to bed I put on this lotion that has Vitamin E in it and they are SO much better. I tried them on the stretch marks I've had for a long time too and it has even lightened those ones. It is quite a few steps especially with a new baby so I don't do it everyday or anything and it is still working for me so maybe give that a shot? Everyone's skin is different but there has been nothing that has worked for me before now. I don't know if you like to work out or not but I have been trying to do situps before bed and it seems like my stretch marks are less noticeable when my belly isn't as flabby lol. Hope I helped, good luck!

I havent found the bio oil here yet, but then again Ive only checked at 1 walmart! lol look at my priorities on that one. But honestly as I have lost the baby weight and now that my son is 15 months old they are pretty pale, unless you were looking closely you wouldnt notice them.

and my guy friends (taht have seen my scar) tease me about obsessing over faded stretch marks and my "non existent" c-section scar.

I have great guy friends though. But they are right, If you are with the babies dad he wont care about the stretch marks. If youre single (like me) the right guy wont care either.

I got huge with all three of my kids, like 24 in waist to 48 in waist huge and got nasty stretch marks, I have tried all kinds of things and found Bio oil made the bigest differance. you can get it at wal-mart or almost every pharmacy, it is orange and pretty cheap

Mederma is super expensive so I would try pure vitamin E oil. I get it at Target and costs about $5. Put it on as much as you'd like but id try twice a day if you can but with anything it will take 8-12 weeks before you notice a difference. But i found its the least expensive and usually vitamin E is whats in most lotions or crems to help scars

Stretch marks will unfortunately never disappear. However, proper hydration will make them fade more quickly. I use Bio-oil which you can find at pretty much any drugstore and it helps a lot with the appearance of the stretch marks. I know it sucks to have these changes on our body but I just remind myself that it's a very small sacrifice that allowed me to have the most wonderful little person in my life. My stretch marks are very wide (almost the width of my index) but they are now very light and silvery instead of being purple. Hang in there, they will slowly fade.

I would worry too much about them because the smaller u get the smaller they get. I am 24 with 3 kids and one on the way and im about 5'5 and i weigh about 130 and when im pregnant i gain about 30 pounds and i got some thick stretch marks on my side and a little on my front under my belly button and when i lose all the wieght the are basically gone beause they are so small and white. They are only so red because they are fresh but they do almost disappear with time and weight loss :) good luck!
