Oh Hun you so not the only one! I have like a road map of canada on my belly. But I am dealing with it. The hardest part I go threw is getting naked for my hubby. I cant do it. I dont want him to see me. I want him to remember my body like it was not how it is. I am very embarassed.

BUT I remember that I have a beautiful baby girl and I feel better. I know I will never wear a bikini and I will never wear shorts or skirts cause my body is ruined, but I love my baby girl with my whole heart and thats all that matters.

People say, dont worry youll lose the weight and I almost have but they dont understand the personal battle we go threw everyday when we jump in to the shower and look down.

But dont worry about it cause your a mother and thats the most rewarding gift a women can have. And if they really bother you and bring you down, talk to your doctor. They may recommend something. xxoo

Trust me - you're not alone. A girlfriend told me that she was mark free up until the 7m mark, and loh and behold, I hit the 7 month mark and bang! Hello stretchmarks - on the front of my belly (bright red, ugly as), jelly handles (fine white ones) and the odd one here and there (top inner thigh, sides of the boobs etc). They do fade though!!

No... I definitely have them. What has helped, though, is getting a body scrub and using that on them in the shower. When you get out, put on coconut oil. Do it everyday. Mine are slowly but surely starting to disappear.

Your not alone I have them too.

But they do fade sun does wonders for fading them and Bio Oil is fantastic it actually works and can remove the little ones all together but be patient I used it after my first child for a long time and i'm still using it now 5month later after my 2nd child.

I didn't have a single visable streach mark until after I had my daughter. As soon as the skin wasn't tight anymore you could see them and I still have them they just aren't the big red ones.

I've got them. I have found that the Palmer's Coco Butter Lotion works pretty well. I am pregnant with my second and wanted to try getting rid of some of the stretch marks from the first and prevent any with the second. It takes a while but it has helped.

I've got them on my tummy, hips, and breasts. Sunshine really helps alot, if you aren't too embarrassed to go outside with them. that was my problem. Now the color has faded a bit on some of them, but my skin is still loose and you can still see them

i got tons.... i was a damn monster lol. one girl once asked me if i was having triplets and i came close to murdering her. i hate how the only examples of mothers we see in the media are super thin right after pregnancy. those women are a slave to their body and make their living off of them. they work out, starve, diet, get plastic surgery to look as perfect as they do and NEVER is discussed how hard it is or how EXPENCIVE it is to maintain such a body. instead they sell us their weightloss tips n tricks and expencive meal plans that just tell us we are not good enough. not pretty enough. you are the only woman that has celulite and stretchmarks there and you should be so ashamed of that fact that you should buy this product to get rid of it (eventho it doesnt work). most women get big and get stretchmarks when they have kids, love. dont fret. they are natural and VERY common (or else you wouldnt see so many ads for stretchmark cream!)

Vitamin E oil from GNC really helps. And actually if you have another it can prevent stretch marks from starting. I used it during my pregnancy until I began to fear slipping on it in the shower around 6 or 7 months. Because of it I didn't get many and the ones I have are not very noticeable.

Ashley - posted on 04/05/2010

I didn't have any stretch marks until my last month of pregnancy. I got the stretch marks BAD!!! I was all baby, but I was measuring 4-5 weeks big in the belly. I had a C-Section to a 9lb 7oz boy. I think I'm gonna try that bio-oil that everyone is recommending.

No stretch marks at all on my tummy. I have a few on the sides of my thighs but thats it and I didnt use anything to prevent them either. Im prego with baby 2 so im hoping i dont get them.

Yep, got lots of them. It is genetic, so you can't stop from getting them. The lotion will help them fade, though. Some women don't get them but they are freaks. :)

My belly will never be the same after having two kids! Not only do I have stretch marks, but I also have saggy skin and even my belly button sags down. I make jokes about it saying my belly button is sad after having babies!! They were worth it though! I can't complain!

I've got terrible stretchmarks. My baby was not very big, just 7 lbs. 6 oz., but I am only 5' so I wonder if having a small torso has something to do with it. Among my friends, I am the only one with stretchmarks this bad. They're very dark and long wrap all around my sides and front. Even my friend who had twins came out of it looking way better. :-\

My stomach has stretch marks going every which way. I've had three daughters and each one sat differently so my stomach looks like a crazy person went at it with a knife over and over :) and they're on my breasts and on the under sides of my arms (the only ones I really hate) but honestly like almost everyone that has replied, I feel that they show the world that I'm a mom!! And very proud of it! I haven't really tried anything to make them fade, they did that on their own (my oldest is 8 and the baby is 3) but I still have some weight to lose and wondering what everything is going to look like when it does come off. My poor husband ;) lol

Hell no your not alone in this. I had my son 17 months ago and still have stretchmarks and a deflated ballon lookn belly haha. I used bio oil during prenancy and it didnt do much to prevent them but it did make my skin feel less tight and itchy....It works after though, they have faded to a silvery white colour and since im very pale they arent too noticable but I wont be going out in a bikini anytime soon, also got them on my upper thighs and they haver thinnned out and almost dissapeared with the use of bo oil.
