teething tables work better for my daughter than orajel. i had been giving her tylenol but tylenols and motrins have been recalled. she does not like frozen teethers. she will be 5 months next week and has her front two bottom teeth

Hyland's Teething Tablets are like gold in my house. I was skeptical at first but oh my god, they really really helped. We both got a good nights sleep after :)

Orajel is really bad because there is a chance of it numbing their throat causing them to choke. Going the natural way is always best. Check at your natural health store for Hylands Teething Tablets, They are little tablets that you disolve in a teaspoon of warm water and give them to your baby. Also go to an Organic store and buy Whole Licorice Stick. Break them in half and give them to your baby to chew on, they are easier to hold than any teething toy and the licorice helps soothe sore gums. Using Motrin or Tylenol under a year old is not good for them, even tho drs and everyone else will tell you its ok, I personally would not recommend it unless they have a high fever. Too many moms use it as a lazy way to get their babies to sleep. My daughter is 6 months and has two teeth already, and the licorice and teething tablets worked like a charm. There is also these individually packaged drops called Camilla that you can get at any drugstore, that I just keep in the diaper bag.

I found it best to just elevate our daughters head at night while teething, just a few small blankets under where her head goes, she would get so congested and thats what was making her wake up

mortrin worked for maddie. and also put teething rings in the freezer or a wet washcloth and let him chew on it.

Motrin worked well for my son. He HATED the Orajel. I also found letting him sleep in his swing at night helped him sleep. He would get so congested when he cut teeth.

Motrin works way better for my daughter than Tylenol. And there's always Orajel. There are also these things called "Teething Tablets" I have tried but I don't think they really work. (They are homeopathic) Good Luck!
