distractions ... show her lots of books and colors and sounds and let her chew on cold things (teething rings) etc

We loved the Sassy Teething Feeder...it works great my daughter love it when we put a little apple slice in it, the coolness really made her less fussy also bananas or an orange slice, just whatever she likes best...or we put some ice chips when she was in some real pain and fussy...here is the link to the teether on Amazon...good luck!

My son really liked to gnaw on celery sticks. Be careful though - after about 5 minutes they're able to break a piece off!

my daughter got 4 teeth at once when she was 6 months, i couldn't believe it, then 2 weeks later she got 4 more teeth at once, it is very common. The Dr. actually told me not to give her tylenol unless she has a really bad fever because then the babies get used to tylenol easing the pain and they will never build up a pain tolerance...but i know how hard it is to have a fussy crying baby due to teething.

Thanks ladies! Looks like I'm gonna have to go look for those tablets tomorrow. I've been using a cold teether for her but she only likes it for a couple of minutes and then starts crying again. Maybe it's not cold enough anymore?? I'm not sure exactly....this is my first baby after all 'lol'

Hyland's Teething Tablets work wonders! I give my lil' guy 2 tablets about 4 times a day and then Motrin before bed...his fussiness is gone and he definetely seems so much more comfortable!

yes my son got his eye teeth first and looked like a lil vampire..it was cute... frozen washcloth that she can suck on and hylands teeting tablets along with the tylenol

I would also try motrin. One of my boys can't have tylenol, doesn't work on him at all. So I'd try that if tablets don't work for you. And lots of cold teethers. Good luck and yes My friend's baby was an eye teeth first baby. My first got 4 teeth at a time. So I could see 6 not being comfortable!

ok hold on how many teeth are they getting in one year???? my daughter has six already and is trying to cut her first year molers. is there any more i should know about?? and the teething tablets are excelent my daughter likes them but will run from me if i have baby orejel.

I also give a recommendation for the Hyland's Teething Tablets- they were a god-send for both of my kids!! And yep, my son was a little vampire with his eye teeth first on top. He's currently working on his last 4 (minus his 2 year molars) all at once too, so multiple at one time is definitley possible. Also, we found a vibrating teether at Walmart that was wonderful!!!

teething tablets work great also-u know the ice cubes that you get like decorative ones? we had some and we keep them on had. depending on what kind u get they are small enough for little hands to hold but too big for them to swallow. These work great we just gave one last week to my girlfriends cramky teething baby and it worked great.

I have lived by using Hylands Teething Tablets, they can be found at Walmart or Walgreens. They are Homeopathic tablets that you can just put in your childs mouth and they just dissolve. After using this with my daughter she always seemed so much more comfortable & happy so you might want to try them out! Good Luck!

yes its common for more than one tooth to come in. try having her naw on cold things like an ice pack or get this thing idk what u call it but its got a mesh bag and u can put raw veggies in it and she can hold it my oldest loved that i liked putting raw carrots in it and having her naw on it.
