I have a yeast infection that doesn't want to go away. I have been to the gynecologist and was prescribed terazol. But it has only seemed to make it worse. I have only ever had 2 or 3 yeast infection my whole life and mostly when I was pregnant. Has anyone had this problem? What did you do to get rid of it? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks for all the advice. I am really jealous of the women who have never had a yeast infection their whole life! Guess I'm just not one of the lucky ones.

My mother has this same problem and has had it for years. They have recently gave her a partial hysterectomy and what was found during the process was a big ball of yeast that the doctor called cali flower. I will for sure have to tell her about the probiotics and cranberry juice is only for a uti not yeast infections. She has even tried a acid pill that you would insert vaginally and that hasnt worked either. Thanks for the advice everyone

a yeast infection would go away with an "-azole" antifungal. If your symptoms have gotten worse instead of better go back to the GYN and get a culture done you may have bacteria vaginitis. Cranberry juice is good for UTI, but UTI and yeast infection are not the same thing. UTI is helped by cranberry because it is essentially due to a pH problem in the urine. the added acid of cranberry juice balances it out. If you think it is yeat avoid carbs, dairy and anything with sugar for a few days as yeast feed on glucose and lactose. but I still say return to the doctor for a culture.

I have never tried cranberry juice for a yeast infection. I have used it to help with a uti before though. I already pee before and after sex. I recently quit taking my birth control pill because I think it was just making matter worse. Maybe my body trying to balance all the hormones back out it what's making it so hard to get rid of!

I got them a lot when I was pregnant with my 3rd and 4th pregnancy. My dr gave me an antibiotic but I ended up not using it after a few times because it only made it worse. My mom told me to drink cranberry juice. So since than I've drank a glass of Cran-Apple Juice with ice once a day and haven't had one since! It works great! :) Also pee after each time you have sex! Lol

SUSU dophilus plus, you can get kinds specifically for yeast infections. Go to your local health food store, and ask them, usually they are very helpful. At least they are in my area.

Thank you for the response. Also I was wondering which probiotic did you use?

Yeast infections can be cured naturally with probiotics. I've gotten them off and on for years. It was caused by antibiotics that were too strong. Then i was told about this.I bought a bottle, I havent had them since .
