This similac Recall!!

try taking it to a different store.. like a different walmart or meijer whereever you got it from! My son cant have the powdered stuff anyways, so his wasnt a recalll but i would say try taking it to a diff store.
Powder formula made my son quit breathing twice.

i wouldn't say this is cause to swap brands this is the first time i think some one at the office said in like 20 years+ and similac is the best in infant formula. though this does hurt the parents trust in them i wouldnt swap for something like this if it was more fatal i would. but its reported only colic like symptoms. that doesn't change the facts that bugs and their larva are gross and they don't belong in formula but i wouldn't go to enfamil. if i didn't use similac i would use Gerber good start..

i was at wic the other day and they mention something about getting a fedex label and shipping it back and they would send the reimbursement. they are doing this because of the congestion on their 1800 line and site . i went to the actual similac site and it was so slow from so many using the bandwith. the stores are not covering the recalls none of them are and neither are wic offices similac is covering the recall themselves. so stores will not exchange.
go to the website and enter the stamp code and you can find out which ones are on recall.. none of the liquids or special formulas are on recall like alimentum. gladly this is what i use=)

i had to return 3 cans of my daughters formula and they gave me the liquid instead..... im a lil scared going back to the powder but i like it so much better..... i would just send it back to similac they have to do something for u....... ugh this whole thing what a headache!!!! good luck w/ sending it back

My sons was recalled as well.. I took it back to Wal-Mart and they glady took it back and let me exchange it for the liquid kind. NOW as a mom I don't feel comfortable giving my little Similac now :/ SO I am changing his formula to Enfamil. Sorry they are being difficult with you through this stressful time.. cause I know it's stressful! Good luck with everything!

I think the Similac website has instructions on sending your recalled formula to the manufacturing company. I don't think it mentioned anything about getting a refund though, unfortunately, but I might be wrong. My son's Similac was recalled too. :(

Its and open can and I do not have the reciept.... Like I knew I was going to have to return her formula why the heck would I keep the darn thing ?????
