My daughter is three and will be four this September. What worked for me was picking out bedsheets that she liked, such as Dora or princess sheets. When she would try to get back in bed with me, I would tell her she will make Dora cry and then Dora will be lonely. This seemed to work for me.

I had the same problem with my daughter and still do at times now and she's almost 4. It comes and goes, sometimes she won't do it for months at a time. When I realize she has crawled into bed with me I take her to go potty (usually having a full bladder is what wakes my daugher up) and then I nicely tell her there's no room in my bed and she needs to lay back in her own bed. It works 99% of the time unless she had a nightmare or she's sick. Usually there is a meaning behind it if it comes up out of nowhere.
Hope this helps and good luck!

If your daughter has her own room you can put one of those plastic things on the door knob so she can't get out in the night.
