My little boy turned 8 months old June 2, he weighs just over the 20lb mark and probably just over 27" in length. It is time for a new car seat! I am wanting one that is a 3 in 1, so rear facing as long as possible, then forward facing at least up to 65lbs and then a booster. I have tried researching and there are just so many out there, most seem to be forward facing only up to 40lbs and then others are only forward facing and a booster or rear facing and forward facing but no booster. I am trying to look for something that isn't going to cost $400 however if there is a seat out there that has all of the things I am looking for then it would be worth that amount.

Wondering if anyone knows of this perfect car seat and can help me out fast?!!! Thank you for any input :)

We bought an evenflo 3 in 1 and it works great. We got it at a Wal-mart i think it was $230. There are a few 3 in 1 cars eats by evenflo. We have 2 different and they both work great.

I just wanted to let you know I was out shopping today and found a Graco Nautlitis(Spelled something like that). It holds 65 lbs. in the harnass and 100 lbs for the booster.I saw it at both Walmart and Target for around $150-$160.It is a 3 in 1 and does have rear facing too.

Can you order one off of the Graco website?Or do they not ship internationally?

We have a 3 in 1 car seat. Its an eddie bauer one( monteceito i think) i love it. It reclines and everything, rear facing is i believe up to 35lbs and forward facing is up to 80 because it makes into a booster as well.]

And Mary for your son you could try one of those neck pillows for his neck when he falls asleep.

For my older son, we bought an Eddie Bauer 3-in-1 car seat when he was about 8 months old. It was great, but it didn’t have much padding. His butt got sore on long car rides. My 9 month old just got his Safety 1st - All-in-One Convertible Car Seat. It was around $140 at Walmart. I love the padding in it. He rides in the car for about an hour before he starts fussing. The only downside is that it doesn’t recline enough to support his head when he goes to sleep, but I haven’t found a car seat yet that does that. He still rests his chin on his chest when he sleeps. As for the forward facing up to 65lb, the Safety 1st carseat converts to a booster at 40 lbs. Good luck finding one that meets all your desired criteria. :)

We have a 3 in 1 car seat.We use it in the front facing position(my son is 18 months). It is an Eddis Bauer carseat.I think it was around $200.00.We bought ours at Target(I am from the US).So far it has worked quite well.We used it in the rear facing position from the time he was like 6 months until 1 year. Both ways we have had it he has done really well in it.I am going to buy another Eddie Bauer 3 in 1 for my daughter in the next few months( she is 4 months right now).So hopefully that helps for you!

Hi Katie! Thanks for your input. How long is it rear facing and forward facing? just as most seem to be rear facing up to 30lbs and forward facing up to 40lbs. I really want one that is ff up to 65lbs. Also which Eddie Bauer is it?

Thanks so much!
