Trying to Potty Train

I know people have probably already said lots on this, but I have a 2 year old and she shows lots of interest in the potty. I want to start Potty Training, but seeing as she is my first and only child I'm not sure where to start or how to get the ball going. She already tells me when she has peed/pooped and sometimes even takes her diaper off if she feel's i'm not moving fast enough! lol No messes so far!! fingers crossed haha
Any advice would be totally appreciated. Thanks Moms!!

HI Brittany! I'm a mother to 4, 3 of them are girls. Its seems that you are half way there. If your daughter is telling you that she has peed/pooped then she is beginning to know that she does not like it on her. Girls are so funny. My son could care less about being dirty but my girls on th other hand hated it! What I did: once the girls got to that stage I would commit 1 week (really it didnt even take that long but I mentally prepare myself for a week ) I would ask every 20 min if she had to go potty. I had her in daycare to and asked if the class assistant would help and ask as well. After eating meals I would wait 30 min and just take her and sit her on the potty with a book. Worked with all my girls and Im now doing the same with my son (btw boys take way longer than girls to train) I KNOW THIS SEEMS CRAZY and maybe more than what you want to do but it did work for me :) Like I said it didnt even take the full week but it did take a few days of full commitment from me to help them take that next step.
