Very very confused with mirena iud

I am so freaking confused! I have had this IUD for almost two years now. My periods have been normal the entire time and still are, but I keep getting pregnancy symptoms like almost every month. I always take a test and it is always negative. BUT I am wondering is there something that could cause a false negative? I had all the early signs of pregnancy the past few months and it is progressing to more of the later signs like excess gas, and feeling things in my stomach. It doesn't really feel like a baby moving and I've had three so I know, but almost like muscle spasms from time to time and I guess gas, but I saw that show I didn't know I was pregnant and don't wanna be next. I just don't think that that many pg tests could be wrong, unless this causes a flase neg. or something else that I do does?? Very very confused. Maybe its all in my head. I know the smart thing to do would be to go to the doc, but I don't wanna look stupid....

I have had the Mirena for about 2 years and don't have periods or anything, I don't even get any period related symptoms. I have read about ppl getting pregnant while having Mirena fitted. The last month I have had incredibly sore boobs which is how I knew that I was bregnant with my other two. I hope I am not. I have to go for bloodwork on Monday for something unrelated so I may ask them to do a test to double check. I have not took a home test yet as they are so expensive and I havent had the time...

I wouldn't freak out too much. I had the Mirena for just over a year and got those symptoms all the time. I took a couple pregnancy tests and they were always negative, so I just figured it was all a part of it. And I never got my period. I know a lot of women who have gone through the same thing and weren't pregnant, but if going to the doc is what it takes to put your mind at ease, I definitely say do it. :)

Are you freakin serious?!?! OMG I was hoping that all of this was all in my head or something. Oh, man I hope I'm not pg. I already have 3, a 6 year old, 2 year old, and 1 year old. I want more just not right now. Man. I guess it's off to the doctor in Jan. We don't have isurance now so I'm just gonna wait till it kicks in so everything will be covered. Ugh. Oh well, no need to be in too big of a hurry its just another month and if I am as far along as I feel like I am, it's not gonna matter anyway. Good thing is I take pretty good care of myself anyway and don't drink or anything. I don't know I have been losing weight too though, like crazy without even trying. Like 15-20 lbs in the past few months and haven't been dieting or exercising, nothing. And that def. isn't a normal sign of pg. So maybe it is something else. Hopefully nothing bad, but maybe just something small. Who knows.

i have the mirena IUD as well and it is not normal to feel pain. I would see your doctor to make sure the mirena didn't move or is not embedded in your wall. You have to be careful because the iud can cause serious damage. I would call the ob ASAP
