im getting married july 24 2010, and im looking for a wedding song. i dont want a corny 80-s soft rock song (lol). i was thinking "one good friend" by george canyon, but im not sure. i want a rock or country, but i have no idea... so, any suggestions?

Well for our first dance we were torn between "Bubbly" by Colbie Caillat and "Grow old with you" by Adam Sandler from the Wedding Singer. We chose "Grow old with you" because we wanted to lighten the mood and let everyone know we were going to have fun, the stuffy wedding part was over it's time to party!! Just chose a song you both love, that will make you smile every time you hear it, and in 25 years you'll still love it. Good luck!!

I am getting married Aug 21st of this year and my wedding song is "I do" by Paul Brandt. Some other good country ones are
"Lost in this moment with you" by Big and Rich
"It's your love" by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill
"I cross my heart" George Strait (pretty old but I love it!)
I also liked "Thank you for loving my" by Bon Jovi and "I knew I loved you" by Savage Garden.

One possible song would be "Together". It's on one of the Final Fantasy soundtracks. Most of the song is actually wedding vows. I absolutely HATE anime, but my husband had me listen to a few of the songs, and a lot of them are love songs that would be appropriate for a wedding. We ended up eloping, so we didn't get a song, though.

You mean a song to dance to, or just songs you want played? I just got married May 15 and the song we danced to was "When You Say Nothing At All" by Kieth Whitley. Its a country song.

How about "So Small" by Carrie Underwood? I just sang it for a friends wedding a few weeks ago.
