I agree that you are a very beautiful woman and that you are definitely not alone! My son is two months old adn although I have struggled with my weight my whole life, it is more important to me that I lose it now than ever before, I want to be around for my son as long as possible! I have a really good friend that lives about 5 blocks away from me and with my husband working second shift at work, I spend a lot of time at her house, so instead of driving there, I now walk there and back, which helps add a few extra steps to my day. I also looked into some exercise videos and listen to the radio a lot more because I love to dance and it is one of the best/most fun ways to lose weight (at least in my opinion!) Good luck with everythingand through it all just remember that you are definitely not alone!

It's not the end of the world....believe me! A lot of moms pick up weight after their babies are born including me! I just started running up and down my steps and pulled back from the table a little. I tried the diets but couldn't stay consistent so I went another route. I'm also running after toddlers all day so that helps. So my advice is to focus on you and everything else will fall in line. Good luck!

I know exactly how you feel. I was relatively small until I got pregnant with my daughter. I gained weight and it seemed like I could never get it off. I tried every diet possible. All the fads, Weight Watchers, Slim Fast...I spent a ton of money and energy trying to feel better about myself. I ended up becoming very depressed and needing antidepressants. From November of 2008 to March of this year, I gained 24 pounds. I finally decided I needed to do something a lot more extreme. I went to a weight loss place in town called Medical Weight Loss.

It was upsetting at first. I wasn't losing the 3 pounds a week they guarantee. Then something kicked in and I started losing weight. In 5 months I have lost nearly 50 pounds, and I took off a week for Easter, 2 weeks for our European vacation, and 3 weeks when we went to visit family over 4th of July.

The diet is high protein and very easily adapted. Most of the stuff I get can be bought on www.dietforlife.biz.

The most important thing is finding something that works for you and don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen right away. Any change you make for the better will make you healthier.

I can understand where your coming from. I had 2 kids 14 months apart and I gained so much weight. I started to walk for 1 hour every day. I would walk and push a double stroller at the same time. I also joined a few exercises classes and now I do kickboxing. I also started watching what I was eating. I stay away from white bread and white pasta and stick to eating whole grain bread and whole grain pasta. I cut out eating anything with sugar and focused more on eating more protein and alot of vegetables. And most important is cutting out the soda and alcohol and drinking lots of water. Just don't get discouraged if you don't see results fast. It takes a while before you notice a difference, trust me I was always getting discouraged and then I realized that I wasn't doing the exercise and eating right too long to see any results. Remember that you are doing this for you and nobody else. And have fun with it and if possible try getting a few friends to exercise with you that way it takes away a little bit of the pressure to lose the weight and you will have someone who can encourage you as well.

First I want to say that you look beautiful and everybody has body issues no matter their shape or size, so your definanlty not alone. To lose my weight I bought a book called the "Abs Diet" It's not really a special diet, but it helps you understand food better and it gives you the best exercises to gain muscle which helps eat the fat up (all you need are some dumpbells and 20-30 minutes 3x a week. I lost 20 pounds my first 2 weeks!) You need to focus on eating several small meals a day and this book helps you realize how easy it can be to work it into your hectic life. Just remember that your beautful and just focus on being healthy and then your body will find it's own perfect weight.

i can't give you diet advice, but i can tell you i've felt the same way you do. i've started walking for 30 min to an hour everyday (i have a long hallway that i pace back and forth down b/c i wouldn't dare exercise in public), and it has really helped my mood. i force myself to at least do that even if i don't do anything else. i usually feel better afterwards.. even though i know i'm still fat, i feel like i'm doing something about it instead of just crying in my little debbies and getting bigger and bigger. hope that helps you in some way :)
