My daughter started sleeping through the night at around 6 months. We tried this thing we read in this book. We laid her down after her bedtime routine and if she was fussing, we let her fuss for 5 minutes and than went in, DON'T pick her up but comforted her and left. We'd wait 10 minutes, and do the same thing if she was still fussing. We would increase the time 5 minutes each time and she'll eventually learn that she's not going to get up and have to go to bed so she started sleeping through the night.

Sorry to say my son was about 11 months old. He was breastfed so the pediatrician told me because he was breastfed not to expect him to sleep through the night til one. Good luck.

around 8 weeks, he started sleeping from 9pm - 6am now at almost 4 months he's going to bed a little earlier, waking up at 6 to eat, then back to bed for a couple hours. We made a routine of bedtime. Always started at 8. Jammies, bottle, story, bed

My son started sleeping through the night (5-6 hour stretches) at 2.5 months. Gradually, he was sleeping longer and longer stretches until about 3 months he was sleeping through the night regularly about 8 hours. He's generally always been a good sleeper.

mine decided at 5.5 weeks that he wanted to sleep through the night. my mom asked me how I did it, but baby was the one to do it, not me.
I hope that any other babies I have sleep through early. It really helped me focus on school and get back some of my memory.

7 weeks b4 she stopped having a night feed. i think the bigger the baby the better they sleep, bcos they can take more milk, and are fuller for longer. i started mine on baby rice at 7 weeks n she slept right thru after that!

i had to co sleep with her for 8 months, i spent 3 with her on my chest the whole time than started moving her off me and onto my bed after that for about 2 months. than just set her down and let her fall asleep on her own. now i set her in her crib with her music and hippo and blanket, she works her self to sleep than most nights.

I feel like I am the only one sometimes but my son (2 1/2) still does not always sleep through the night. He is doing awesome now. I just got to roll with the punches I guess. Each child is different and you just have to work with what you have. I think a big part of it was that I breastfeed and he would always fall asleep before I could put him to bed. So maybe he didnt develop the skills to fall asleep on his own? I tried many different things and all I can say is that with this next baby, I am going to take some of my knowledge from my lil man and take it step by step.
My sister did not sleep through the night until she was 3 (I feel for my mom), I dont know of many people who are going throught the same thing but if you are, it would be great to know!
