i have a 15 month old boy...i dont know anything about potty training i dont know when or how to even start

I'm a first time mom so i'm not really sure either. I've heard boys are harder to potty train then girls. My daughter is 14 months and has started showing an interest in potty training. I bought her a potty when she turned one and placed it across from my potty in the bathroom. At first I just wanted to get her used to the potty because i've heard so many stories of kids being scared of the potty. Once she got used to seeing it every day she started sitting on it when I would go to the bathroom. Now she is at the point where she will point to it and i'll take her diaper off and sometimes she'll pee and sometimes she wont. It all has to be on her terms. You don't want to force it. I hope this helped a little at least!
