My son wouldn't take the teething rings or frozen washcloths or anything. The best thing that worked for us are those teething tablets made by Hylands - all natural, melt right away, and eased the discomfort right away!

I agree with Sabra, anything frozen or hard toys and I gave mine oragel and some baby advil or motrin, it has ibuprofen for reducing swelling and pain relief, I used to give half of the recommended dose. It doesn't last long before they cut through.

frozen anything. a lot of moms find that a damp washcloth stuck in the freezer is really good. Try freezing some fruit or vegetables that way they want to chew on it because it tastes good.
Remember though that it is okay to give them Tylenol or oragel sometimes though. A lot of moms don't like to give their babies these while they are teething but they are in pain (often accompanied by other symptoms) so as long as you aren't going over the recommended dosages then it's really not bad. I mean you would take Tylenol if you were in pain.
