What brand of diapers/wipes do you like best??

I am just curious to see what are the best diapers and wipes for your babies(y). Also, I think it will help some of the new moms that have no clue which brand to get for their baby, decide on a brand to try.

I personally like the Huggies diapers and wipes. The best so far. I found that the Pampers diapers would leak a lot more than the Huggies (for my son anyway) and the wipes seemed really flimsy to me. When my son had a blowout, I would have to stack two Pampers wipes to get it strong enough to get the tar-like substance off of him. The same with the Costco brand wipes. What are your opinions? What works best for you?

THE BEST EVER IS - MOMtoMOM. I HAVENT USED ANYTHING ELSE BUT THESE EVER SINCE MY DAUGHTER WAS BORN.. They are so soft and cloth like and stretch. Should definately give them a try =]

I actually like Kirkland (the Costco brand) for both. The flaps on the diapers hold on so tightly, and the wipes are amazing, and WAY cheaper than Huggies or Pampers brand.

I like Pampers, I have 3 kids and I used them for every single one of them. I wouldn't use anything else. I have never had them leak with any of my kids. I really think it is just personal preference. Try the brands you are leaning towards the most and then decide.

Wow really?

Must be subjective to the kid.

We are an all Pampers household. I've tried Huggies and Luvs also, and didn't care for either as far as diapers were concerned.

But I have a friend who swears by Luvs.

And my baby is almost 5 months, never had a rash.

Huggies are great but if youre on a budget the Target Brand work just as good, they're practically identical! Also Kirkland diapers are practically Hugggie too, 250 diaper for 30 bux?! hell yea!

I like Huggies diapers and the huggies wipes with shea butter. Pampers are ok. And I hated luvs, they dont really stretch much and because of this my son would always wet his clothes.

I have used Luvs with all 4 of my children. Pampers broke them out in rashes and huggies seemed too stiff and leaked. I like luvs because they are "breathable" but also durable and aren't expensive. For wipes I use Pampers Sensitive.

Huggies nappies gave both of my children bum rash. I could only use Pampers, and I was very happy with them!

I totally agree. Ive been changing diapers since '99 and do not use any other brand other than HUGGIES. I have tried all types of other brands, and honestly have not found any other that works as well as HUGGIES, on both girls and boys. I recommend it to everyone who asks. I still have about 2 years of diapers to go and I know I will ONLY be using HUIGGIES.

Like you, with my son I was strictly Huggies everything. With my daughter though, I've realized that I like Pampers diapers best - but they HAVE TO BE the Cruisers - NOT the Dry Baby ones. And yes, absolutely, I will only use Huggies wipes because they're so much more substantial and work so much better! It always seemed with my kids that there was an odor (beyond that of the urine) that came from the diaper when they were wet, which I don't have with the Pampers.

I am just the opposite as well. I started both of my babies out in Huggies but they both leaked. So then I tried Pampers, and have been happy ever since. I even tried the parent choice one time, I was unhappy with those for the simple fact they left little red marks on my babies legs. I do buy the unscented parent choice wipes though. They seem to work fine and are a reasonable price.

for newborns I like walmart brand wipes. they're very cloth like and don't tear easily. As far as diapers, I've been using Luvs for quite some tim. They're really good for overnight b/c they don't leak.

I also use the Walmart brand wipes and luvs diapers. Luvs are the only diapers that don't leak or give my kids diaper rashes.

My son was allergic to the Pampers diapers. So I switched him to Huggies diapers and wipes and had no allergy issues. He did however get frequent diaper rashes and has very sensitive skin. I ended up taking him off of sposies altogether and started using cloth diapers around 10 months old. I still use Huggies baby wipes and I've recently tried the Target Up and Up brand in the sensitive and they work really well. I prefer to use just a regular washcloth as a wipe instead. Since switching to cloth diapers, my son has had no problems with diaper rash. I LOVE cloth diapers, and if I ever have any other children, I plan on starting them on cloth diapers as soon as possible.

Ok, you are like the second or third.. Maybe fourth person that says they use cloth.. Can I ask you something? What is the best way to get the mess out before you throw it in the washer? Or do you use a diaper service? All this talk about cloth diapers and I almost want to try them..

What you can do is install a diaper sprayer on your toilet. Here is a tutorial to make your own. http://gidgetgoeshome.com/2008/08/25/diy... You could buy one specifically for cloth diapering but there really isn't any reason... Then all you have to do is spray it out into your toilet! Easy!

I use Bum Genius One Size Pocket diapers, love love love them! I also use cheap baby wash cloths and water for wipes, they also work great for other things since I always have them with me. It is way cheaper and my son never gets diaper rashes or blow outs and I never have to run to the store to get diapers! Much cheaper in the long run too. I always thought I would hate cloth and that it was gross but after really looking into it and doing it now for so long I couldn't imagine doing it any other way. There are tons of options in cloth diapering that can fit into pretty much anyone's lifestyle :)

I've tried Luvz and huggies and pampers and all that which all worked really great and they were pretty soft but i'm using the "Parents Choice" brand from walmart cuz they're the cheapest i've found and i've hadn't had any problems yet. For the wipes i use the target brand. I tried costco but i thought they were too wet like i had to squeeze some out which was annoying. Oh yeah i did just finish trying the target brand diapers but they're no good. they leaked.

As for wipes i do like the huggies wipes. The pampers wipes are very flimsy and seem to have not enough, how do i say it, moisture? to them.

Ive tried regular pampers which work well too.

and as for huggies; i hate them.

My daughter would get diaper rash when she used anything but Pampers diapers. She had no problem with any brand wipes though. Also, Huggies didn't fit right on her, always too big around the thighs. A lot of my friends with girls have had problems with Huggies diapers fitting right too. Now that my daughter is in pull ups, she can use generic brand...a lot cheaper for me!

I use lidl's own nappies a make called Toujours. Tried my daughter with huggies and tesco own and both made her get bad bum rash, so settled on pampers but once we got her on proper food and juice she got a very bad bum rash and were at the doctors for special cream. my partners sister suggested lidl nappies which we tried and have had no problem since. and ther cheaper too.

Ok, first of all.. Eczema is an autoimmune disease. It is a chronic condition that does not simply go away from changing diaper brands. I highly doubt your baby got eczema just for a diaper. I have eczema as well as 2 of my siblings and my son. I have done my research. It was probably just a bad diaper rash.

I use huggies wipes they are good quality with a good price.

Hey! well I love the huggies diapers and wipes and I buy them from costco in bulk because they have deals on them if you buy them both together. Doing this has saved me so much money and I have bought wipes like four or five times since my son was born and he is 19 months!!! And I use them a bunch!! for everything, like wiping the table, my hands and his sippys off. As far as wipes go I've never used any but huggies. Now, as far as diapers go, I go either ways as far as huggies and kirkland brand, they both are very good and when there's no deal I go buy kirkland brand, buying diapers is so much more cheap at costco(in my opinion) and your buying in bulk so you aren't always running to the store :)

PAMPERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSS!!!!!! Pampers swaddlers are AWESOME!!!!! Plus they're really cool for new Daddy's who don't know how to tell if your baby has a wet diaper just by feeling it, they have a yellow stripe down the center of the front that turns green when wet!! LOL

No but seriously, huggies leak and are sooooo less comfy for your babies!!! ALL THREE of my kids would get really red if I used huggies on them. The fibers they use in them are really course n' irritate even my hands just feeling them! It's kinda the felling you get when scratching your fingernails down a chalk board LOL

Pampers swaddlers are sooooooo soooooft!!!!!

And for wipes I honestly like the target brand THE BEST!! They're really thick and you don't have to use 20 of them to get your babies bottom clean LOL I got some Huggies wipes from my baby shower so I thought I'd use them seeing how their such a well known comp and THEY SUCK!!! EVERY TIME I tried pulling them through the whole of the wipe holder they would rip!! Grrrr!!

So yeah I say TARGET WIPES FOR SURE!!

PAMPERS PAMPERS PAMPERS. My daughter is in size 2 pampers swaddlers. they are soo soft, and the pampers sensitive wipes are like silk. Swaddlers only go to size 2 i think? so we will be switching to cruisers. I HATE HUGGIES. I get these coupons in the mail so I buy them sometimes and they are not soft at all and seem to expire...they go hard like cardboard after a while...and the huggies sensitive wipes leave little pieces of fluff on my baby's bum.
