My daughter is almost 4 and absolutely throws a fit when she has to wear her panties instead of a pull up and will not go on that potty. How long does it take. I try rewards, decorating a potty area, and nothing is working. Help!

We went cold turkey with my daughter. No Pull-ups, we let her go to the store and pick out panties, and then she wore them and a plastic pant overtop (to protect carpet) If she tried to get to the potty and didn't make it, that was fine, we praised her for trying. If she made it, she got 2 Smarties, stickers, etc. But if she refused to even try, especially with poop, we wouldn't change her for a minute per age (ie. your daughter is 4, make her walk in a peed panty for 4 minutes) She HATED the way it felt and was fully trained within 3 days, poop took about a month, but again as long as she TRIED, she was rewarded. What I ended up having to do with my daughter is basically forcing her to sit on the potty.. all I did was sit her on the potty and told her that big girls use the potty and not their pants...she would sit there and cry and cry. I sometimes had to sit there for 10 minutes, but then all of the sudden she would pee and she would see my face turn into a BIG smile and I would make a HUGE deal about it!! Sing, dance, do whatever you have to do! After she would go I would clean her up and then I would give her 2 M&M's when she peed and 3 if she pooped!! She caught onto this VERY quickly and within 3 days she was fully potty trained!! Good Luck! :)

I dk if this will help but when my mom was potty training my sister and I she took he week off and had us with nothing on our bottems no diapers or pants just naked , maybe she won't like the feeling of getting wet and go to the potty
