what can i give my 3 month old to help her get rid of her cold

Is your baby coughing? My doc told me a small amount of honey in their milk will help sooth it. I used a warm humidifier for my daughter with the Vicks mist. But everyone is right about the shower. I would not give her a bath that often unless she is running a fever. The difference in temp from the bathroom to the rest of the house could make it worse.

There isnt anything you can give a baby that small. I used to put my daughter in her carseat, and put her in the bathroom while I took a shower. The steam helps the cough. You can also try a little bit of mint in some water.

give her a bath with warm water have her in warm clothes. check her temperature. if she she was her nose clogged then the humidifier will help her breathe. hope she feels better

i think ur poor baby and u need sleep so i would give her jus a lil Tylenol mix with a tad of Motrin if nothing else works shell get much less interrupted sleep and feel so much better i have twins and they go threw it also luckily MY GOD MOTHER IS A DOC remember jus a mil of each mixed together

thanx so much for all your helpful advice i live von my own so things can be tuff at the best of times have used saline drops and elevated her matress ill find out about the cool mist humidifier thing n no they havent done much to help except send us home with heapsa pamol and saline drivin me crazy a!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 weeks is a long time for a cold, at least in my opinion. Could it be allergies? Meds won't help for a 3 month old, especially if she doesn't have a fever. Use saline drops (for babies), and suck it out w/ that bulb syringe thing they give you in the hospital (or you can buy that at the store). Keep the mattress elevated, use a cool mist humidifier, too. I can't believe the docs haven't done anything, have they checked for an ear infection? Your poor baby has to be miserable, and you as well!! Good luck, and my heart goes out to you!!

Give her a warm bath, every day and maybe dippending how bad it is twice a day. Take a REALLY warm shower yourself, close the door and have someone hold her while your in there. The heat and steam will help unclog her. Dont be afraid to give her a little bit of fresh air as long as shes warm enough. And check lots for a fever. If she has one give her a little tylenol. Just try to make her as comfterable as possible, and make sure she is getting plenty to drink and not getting dehidrated. I hope your little one starts feeling better soon.
