Luc Montagnier, one of the co-founders of HIV who won a nobel prize for his work, has come out to say that he believes HIV can be cured and prevented with proper antioxidants and nutrition. He also eludes to how the government cannot profit off of "proper nutrition and clean water." All of this information has been made into a documentary called House of Numbers. Check it out at www.houseofnumbers.com. Here is a short video clip of Luc Montagnier talking about how to cure/prevent HIV

The reason there is nor cure for AIDS is because there is no money to be made off the cure. The old mighty dollar is what runs this country. If we started curing all the illnesses then how would the pharmacuticals make money. Do you know how much a one month supply of the triple cocktail to mainataine the HIV viruse costs. We are talking a minimum of 12 pills a day for the rest or your life verses a one time fix. We have all heard about Magic Johnson being cured of HIV and then he changed his story and said they doctors cannot detect the virus. That leads me to beleive there is a cure for AIDS/HIV as long as you can pay for it and keep your mouth shout.

Hell no!!! They are suppose to test and re-test and do alot of other things to that vaccine. It takes about 10 years to go through all of the steps they are required to go through before dispensing vaccines. They created this vaccine in only a couple of months. There is no way I am taking that chance.

Every year the seasonal flu changes so if it took 10 years then we're still wating for the vaccine from when i was 14...

They were able to get a vaccine for it becuase it is made up of 4 other flus that have alreayd been around. Swine flu was also around in 1918 then again in 58 and 67 i do believe so they had some research to go by.

My son had the H1N1 virus the same time as pnemonia and he was a healthy boy before getting sick. We were in line 2 weeks later, when the clincs opened to get the vaccine and he didn't even flinch when given the needle. Neither of us had side effects. My husband had a sore arm for a day but that was it. I plan on getting it for my daughter but she is still too young but if there is a third wave then i will get it for her. We did not do regular flu shots. The seasonal flu changes every year so to me this i sjsut the flu for the year. People who say they just do regular flu shots and not this one because it is too new well...every year the flu shot is new. The regular flu shot and the H1N1 have the exact same thing in them except the strain and again the regula one changes EVERY year. I have no regrets. They way i thought of it was if something happened to my son becasue of this flu, would i be able to live with myself knowing i could have prevented it. I would rather my child life then die over a simple thing like this. 1 person has died from the vaccine so the benifits outweigh the risks by far in my mind. Remember there is more then one tpye of the vaccine so discuss which one would be best for your family with you DR before getting one.

www.askdrsears.com

it has all the info on the vaccines.

Good lukc with your decission. It cna be a hard one to make.

Absolutly not, myself and my boys both got the flu 2 years ago after getting the flu shot. I heard a report that said if you were one of these people that get the flu when you get the flu shot getting the H1N1 shot is not a good idea, because chanses are you will get the swine. The report also said if you get the swine after getting the shot your chances of survival is very small. My family in general have very strong immune systems, i have never gotten the flu except the year i got the shot. and the common cold it the extent of illnesses that run through the house.

As far as people freaking out over H1N1, the homeland security secretary has gone on record to state that the swine flu is no more severe than the seasonal flu. And I absolutely DO NOT TRUST the CDC, WHO, or any pharmaceutical company. Not too long ago Baxter lab, where they make a large amount of flu vaccine, sent out botched vaccinations that contained live avian flu (which has a 60% mortality rate) to 16 different countries! Their response was "oops" but 72kg of "oops" shouldn't happen at a facility where maximum biohazard security precautions are taken. Or what about the swine flu vaccination of 1976 that was pushed by the government and led to many patient complications because there wasn't sufficient testing on it before it was distributed to a quarter of the American population. Or how about the fact that the New England Journal of Medicine reports that in 1977 scientists exhumed the frozen body of an Inuit woman who died of the Spanish flu (of 1918) and they were able to replicate the virus from her samples...and currently there is an unidentified strain of flu virus killing throughout the Ukraine that resembles the "black hemorrhagic lungs" of the Spanish flu? Doesn't anyone find it weird that the US has barely reported on a "mysterious" and deadly virus...are the Obama dinner crashers really that much more important to report on or are the pharmaceutical companies (in cooperation with media companies) sweeping their blunders under the rug? So no I don't trust any organization that can be bought off or bribed by pharm companies and I won't be getting flu vaccines for me or anyone in my family. period.

We don't get the reg flu shot ever and will not be getting this one. Its IMO unnessary and I personally wouldn't give my child something s/he doesn't need.

we aren't getting the vax. we are doing supplements to try and prevent the flu. my daughter takes probiotic, fish oil, and vitamin D. she is also still nursing so i think she'll be ok even if she does happen to get h1n1. a few of my friend's kids had it and they said it was no worse than the regular flu.

I've never gotten the regular flu for myself or my kids, I am wishing i had learned more about the vaccines they regularly get as I wish i had known more about the chicken pox vaccine for starters....i do not plan on getting the flu or the h1n1 vaccine and i'm almost possitive that my boys had h1n1 if the charts that are going around are fairly accurate. They are fine and i'm confident they will stay that way (i did teeter totter with the decision though)

i got my 18 month old vaccinated. i'm happy that i did. people keep saying it's new. actually its not. it's basically the flu shot with additives. the additives they have been using over in europe for the past 10 yrs. it is new to canada/u.s because we havent needed to use it for any reason. everyone that has had these additives in europe for the past 10 yrs has been fine so i'm not worried about any side effects. i'd be more worried of my son actually getting the swine flu. apparently it has mutated and it's worse. i read that 4 people (i beleive it was 4) in norway had died from it and it was the mutated one. it is going deeper into the airway therefore it's worse than the first wave of it. i personally didnt want to take any chances. i feel a lot safer now that we have it

It's up to you, if you aren't comfortable with it, don't do it. I talked to my doctor about it and he told me that both flus are strand A and that if you get the seasonal shot, it will work. I know that there was a post about how the death rate is higher from the H1N1, but you also have to consider that was because it was during the off season of the flu and that no one had their regular shot. And, as for right now, the H1N1 is taking a back seat to the regular flu because the H1N1 is mainly a spring/summertime flu. Maybe by then you will have had time to talk thoroughly to your doctor and other health care professionals to make an informed opinion.

I got myself the H1N1 shot and currently I am still fine. I am toying with the idea of getting my kids their shot. My daughter was fine with the seasonal flu but I dont want to stick her to many times. My son I am not to sure..he didnt have any trouble before but still has a lingering cough and I have not had a chance to get his seasonal flu shot.

...if they take the regular flu shot okay they will more than likley be ok with the h1n1

Im just wondering if this comment was specific to your girls or a general comment. If that was the case I would be interested to know why the death rate this flu season with the H1N1 strain has been so high (comparative to previous seasons with other flu strains)? Think I just got me some homework!

LOL - I was just throwing th idea of getting my daughter one because we a flying to new york during their flu season but I wasnt sure if she is old enough at 12 months. Sounds like she may be so I will definately look into getting her (and us) the H1N1 on top of the seasonal flu jab.

I am a RN and I do not allow my children to get the influenza vaccination or the h1n1, there are possible side effects to each vaccination but those side effects do not necessarly pertain to everyone. Everyone is different and our body's react differntly. My girls 2(3 yr olds) 1 (2 yr old) all get most of the side effects and their immune system does not respond well the the dead virus.. you really just have to weigh out your options, if they take the regular flu shot okay they will more than likley be ok with the h1n1

my three year old son got the nasal mist and was and still is perfectly fine, no side effects and my six month old daughter got the shot and also no side effects just a tiny fever that night, she has been perfectly fine since. i am happy i got them vaccinated, its scary to hear stories of all these children dying from this flu. i figured we have so much technology out there today they wouldnt put a vaccine out there that would cause harm, also i had a friend whose kids got the h1n1 flu and it was bad.
