I have compared ingredients on all formula cans and Parent's Choice is like the rest, just $10 cheaper. I have WIC and my boy is on Similac Isomil because he has an allergy to milk. He eats so much that what they give me is not always enough for a month, so I buy Parent's Choice soy because it is just like what he already drinks. I would say whatever you child tolerates best. Parent's Choice tries to make their formulas as close to the name brands as they can.

Nestle's Canation Good Start with Omega 3.
Always recommended it to our new mums, close to breast milk and has the benefit of Omega 3 for your baby's brain.

Similac Sensitive in the orange can was the only thing my son could drink, because it was the only thing he could keep down. I tried everything from Enfamil to Parent's Choice, and nothing would work. But Similac I have found is the best thing to use. But it also depends on what your baby can tolerate.

I don't know if everyone knows this but there was a Simlac Recall in the states!! For having beetles and larva in it. I gave my daughter Simlac but she projectile vomited everywhere a couple times. I switched her to Enfamil A+ and she did great.

I liked both the Carnation Good Start and Enfamil formulas! I gave my oldest son the Carnation Good Start because he was allergic to all of the other formulas we tired at the time and my youngest son is currently using the Enfamil because he too was allergic to all the other formulas. Just try them out until you find one you and your baby like! :)

NESTLE GOOD START the regular one ( much bigger can and cheaper) but after trying all the enfamils and similacs, my son took to this one amazingly well. Never got gassy, didnt spit up as much and slept through the night at 4 weeks after 2 days on being on this formula. We aboslutely loved it he was finally happy, he had such problems with all the other ones, diarhea, constipation, projectile vomitting, gas, spitting up all the time, hated the taste and instantly Nestle was heaven sent to us

I love Nestle Goodstart! I used it with both my babys and I never had a gas or costipation problem! I also used the Mylicon drops in all the bottles and it helped too...but Goodstart is a great choice and its about the same price as the rest

Just about all formula is regulated by the fda. so everybrand had to have so much of everything. If it is about the recall. Enfamil was redcalled in 08 for metal shaving. so id go with bugs than .

We switched from Similac RS to Enfimil AR also because my son has reflux. As soon as they start selling it again then I will go back to Similac. I finished all the cans I had of Similac though. Hopefully they will have more come out soon. I could've just bought the liquid Similac but it get REALLY expensive then. Good luck!

I used enfamil with Lipil before my daughter got on similac with wic.. Acording to her peditricain most formulas are the same they all have the same basic ingredients as per the fda's standards. Also it is not recomended by peditricians to switch your babys formula very often "find a formula and stick to it" Now if you are having problems with it ask your childs dr before switching formulas

I used Enfimil, because that what they gave him in the hospital (he had jaundice and was given it after I breastfed to help get rid of it) so I figured if the hospital uses that brand than it must be a good brand, and he had no trouble with it when i weaned him off my milk.

similac gave my baby diarrhea and he spit up a lot, so i switched to enfimil advanced lipil and he has thrived on it, and you can also sign up to get manufacture coupons, i get about $17 worth of coupons a month for it and anything helps!!

So earlier I went to Wal Mart, gotta love it... Their brand of formula (Parent's Choice) was listed under our food stamp benefits. Before it wasn't... that's a hell of a great lift off of our shoulders.

Why not Similac? If its because of the recall, I don't see why you would switch because this happens with all kinds of food. And your baby will probably eat a bug or two pretty soon anyways.
Parents choice is just as good as any other and even a little cheaper then most.

All formulas are good, it just depends on what kind works best for your child. For instance, the only formula i've found that my daughter isn't allergic to is the Parent's Choice Soy Formula. Lots of moms love Similac and Enfamil. It just depends on what your baby prefers.
