Dont uses Johnson's baby lotion. It actually has perfume in it! I use curel continous comfort for my son. He has excema and alot of stuff makes his skin goes nuts. Aveeno is also a great product like other mothers have said. Coloadial (probably spelled that wrong) works wonders too to ease irratation. You can find it at baker's.

i dont like all the chemicals that are in baby products so i have been using rolled oats in her bath. and for a moisturizer i went to a health store and picked up 100% almond oil and i mix a drop or 2 of lavender essential oil to the almond oil and massage her skin.
this is 100% natural and no harsh chemicals and her skin is so soft!

put some rolled oats in a little bag and squeeze the bath water through it. It makes the water go a milky white and is BRILLIANT at clearing up dry skin. It also makes bubba smell like cookies! When my sons skin was really dry in the first few weeks, we also used baby oil on the dry patches. Otherwise I would ask your doctor specifically if it is really bad.

Weleda is great. Works perfectly fine with cloth diapers as well. I have to agree with Megan.

Another vote for Aveno baby stuff...I use the lotion (very dry Canadian winters) and it works great for my daughter.

I use the Eucerin body wash & shampoo and I only use Aquaphor on him. My son has really sensitive skin & everything else makes him break out. We lube him in aquaphor as soon as he gets out of the tub & takes a bath every night so his skin doesn't get dry. Try those, they really work for us

If your baby is getting some sort of rash or eczema from a product definitely stop using it. Ask your pediatrician about any rashes you find, theyre generally pretty helpful. If shes under 2 months, nothing scented- it can irritate the skin. My doc told me to use Eucerin lotion because its a very mild formula for all kinds of skin types. Hope you've had some luck!

Weleda Calendula Shampoo & Body Wash is amazing!! I won't ever use any other products! The whole line of baby products is wonderful!!
It’s a gentle wash that retains the moisture in your baby’s hair and skin, leaving them feeling silky smooth and protected from drying out.

Formulated with the mildest organic and natural plant-based cleansers, it’s gentle and tear-free. Biodynamic® and organic calendula flower extract soothes and softens your baby’s hair and skin. Sweet almond oil absorbs fast and easily to keep your baby’s skin and hair from losing precious moisture. This gentle, effective formula with a light and delicate fragrance turns an ordinary bath time into a full-body pampering. Now that’s one clean, happy baby from head to shoulders, knees and toes (knees and toes).

LOVE IT!! ;o)

Plain old water...nothing added. A little olive oil is good if she needs a little oil to moisturise her skin but otherwise just bathe her in plain water every few days so that her natural oils proect her skin rather than needing to use anything else...

We use Cetaphil lotion and body wash on our little boy. It is in the regular lotion/wash section, not in the baby section. It is very mild and fragrance free.
