I am prego with my second and really like the name Emalee. But everyone keeps telling me its too common. My sons name is Aries so we like unique names. But Emalee just keeps getting stuck in my head. We like Parker for a boy, I don't know how common that is either. I also like Cadance for a girl. Any suggestions on girls or boys names would be great!

I really like unique names as well but my husband not so much. I figured I would give you not only our childrens names but also a few of my fav unique names. Hope you don't mind! My sons name is not such a unique name but I love it. He is Zackary Darren. My daughters name is Rhegan Mackenzie, pronounce Reagan. Or you can spell it Raygan. My mother also has the unique name of Rhenda, hence the spelling for my daughters name. My other favorites are:

For girls- Tayte or Tate, Ashton, Aftin, Kaydence, Patience, Emalynn, Daisy, Piper, Prudence, Alexia, Chloe, Tautianna, Sofia, Serenity, Kennedy, Taylin

For Boys- Paxton, Nickolie, Brayson, Braydon, Triston, Madox, Xavier, Zander, Andyn, Taytum, Hunt, Rayce, Hunter

Hope that helps!!! Best of luck choosing a name!

My baby girls name is Rhiannon Bailey... we also thought of Deja, my middle name which is Lucena. My Sister in Law would have named her baby Tatem if it was a girl. I think Emalee is interesting in writing, but will probably be misspelled a lot as Emily. what about changing the first letter like Imalee or Omalee, or Imely so it is almost the same... You could also change the second letter to a different constanant like Enalee, Elalee, Edalee, Elamee, - Changing the name so it has the same cadence (lol) might make it more unique to you!

my daughter's name is Emilia Lynne and very many times we do call her emily, emma, emmy, emm.... we found that the name emilia has not been overly popular since the 1800's.... it was in the top 10 for 2008. my point go with your gut whatever you know is right will work no matter how popular or uncommon the name because your childs shining personality will make her/ or his name unique

My Sons name is Camden Patrick, We will be going with either Colton Rylee or Mick Rylee for our next son and if we have a girl we like Milian, Miliania, London, Landree, Ashton and I'd like to use my middle name for the girls middle name which is Rae so I just have to find the perfect match for that. I am a mother of two, a boy and a girl. I have always loved Bible names so we named our 2yr old boy Jonah Colie, (Col.ee) after Jonah and the whale and his dad's middle name Colie And our 4mo old girl Elliadah Navaeh (Ellie.a.d.a) (Na.va.uh) aka Ellie after one of King Salamon's daughters in the Bible. btw Jonah means peace like a dove and Elliadah means gracious light and Navaeh is Heaven spelt backwards.

We named our daughter Alaina Tyler. Alaina isn't too unique but it's not too common either. And Tyler for a girl is definately not very common. When and if I have another daughter, I'd love to name her Yzabella Rae.

My daughter's name is Cecilia Victoria. Not too unique but also not common. Cecilia means blind and Victoria means victory (I think you might have known that one). Ceci for short and the idea was to call her Vico as well but that has not worked out. BTW if Emalee is coming up so much I think that your little bundle of joy is trying to tell you something :-)

My 2 year old daughter's name is EDEN. We wanted an "E" name and also one that was not too common. We get compliments on it all the time.

Well I thought my daughters name was going to be very unique and it is for a girl but now in the very small town that I live in, well actually both very small towns maybe a total population between the two towns is 3000 people, there are I think a total of 8 Kaedyn's. I have the oldest which is 5 and she's the only girl, and the only spelling like I have of Kaedyn.

If we have another I would like Rieley(I'm not sure how its really spelled, i'll have to look into it) or Ceaser. I have a friend Naming her son Jaxon, and has a daughter named Dakota which I think is a beautiful unique name.

We named our daughter Cara Lilianna, which we thought at the time was not very popular and our son we named Caden Lenard, which we thought that the way we spelled his name was different but I have seen it and Cara's middle name we combined with Lilly and Anna and Caden's middle name is his daddy's middle name and grandpa's first name. Also all of our names start with the same letter... CLC because we have me Carrie Lyn, then my hubby is Christopher Lenard and all have the same last name... so just have fun with it. I know the names we picked fit our children well and thats all that matters...Good luck

My Husband has an Irish heritage so it was important for him to incorporate that into the children's names. My oldest is Eryn (for the island of Ireland) Rosemary (MINE! I had to have something) and the new one will be Leah (biblical; again MINE) Clare (for a "state" in Ireland). We also had Cara, Caryn, Sharyn, Rynae and others (I LOVE the letter Y). Boy's names were always a fight, so thank God we haven't had any!!!
