I am prego with my second and really like the name Emalee. But everyone keeps telling me its too common. My sons name is Aries so we like unique names. But Emalee just keeps getting stuck in my head. We like Parker for a boy, I don't know how common that is either. I also like Cadance for a girl. Any suggestions on girls or boys names would be great!

The names you picked out are cute. If you wanted something a little different, Emmaline (like Caroline) is cool.

My kiddos are Simon, Jack, Mary, and Mae. My nephews are Ely, Cooper, and Pierce. My nieces are Evelyn and Virginia.

I have a 9 month old daughter name Brooke Danielle. Danielle is my middle name. Brooke is just a name we both agreed on. Not too popular yet. We had 2 names picked out before she was born but she didn't look like a Sophia Brynn or Taylor Brynn. But my all time favorite name is Pheadra (Fay-dra) but my husband said no. That is very unique and not common at all. I like the name Brynn too. For a boy name we had Ryan Patrick (patrick is my dad) or Blake Patrick. If we have another baby and its a boy those two will be what we will decide on and hopefully don't have to go through finding another name like we did for Brooke. It tore daddy's heart when she didn't have a name he could call her.

I like your names.

Emalee is such a pretty name, common or not. The way you are spelling it is not that common. My son is Joshua, he's a Jr and is almost the spitting image of his daddy. We had his name picked out before he was born but I waited to see him before making it offical. If Emalee is what keeps sticking into your mind then I would go for it.

My daughters name is Edynn Sarea. Edynn after my late nana, Edith and her mom Sophie. I liked Eden, but wanted to be original, so we made the spelling a little different, I like Lily and Elijah too.

Congratulations on the Pregnancy! I am happy for you. I have one son who is 21 months. We named him Rolando Jose (after my fiances uncle and my brother, respectively). I liked the name David Antonio for a boy and Julissa for a girl. I have a niece who's middle name is Raizelle (Rise- elle) and I love that. We are trying for the second baby so if its a girl I'll definitely use one of those names!!

I have 2 children. My daughters name is Tamia and my son is Mikah! I really like your choice in spelling, that alone is not common. It's a beautiful name and if the name keeps coming to you then use it. If my second child would have been a girl we were going to name her Charleigh but my baby came out with a spare part so Mikah it was!!! Good luck!! Whatever you choose i'm sure it will be a beautiful name!

Cadance is beautiful! My son's name is Brandon Patrick. If I have another boy (eventually) I hope to call him Draven. I also like Trayse for a boy. For a girl, I think Saphira is pretty, and Emmerson. Hope this gives you some ideas!

Emalee is a common sounding name, however, I love the way you're spelling it. I'm a fan of unique names. My son's name is Urijah and if he had been a girl we were thinking of Arianna.

Well, when we first found out we were pregnant we wanted to use a unique name since I have a unique name myself. (Mine is Starsha Maranda, see unique) So we decided for a boy Zane (which is whom I have sitting in my lap at the moment) and if we had a girl we had decided that we would just change Zane up alittle and we came up with Zanna.

Good Luck with picking a name! Keep us informed with however you guys decide!!

I have two sons, Jack Hayden and Max Gideon. I went with the more unique names for their middle names and left the first ones short and easy to spell. I have always liked different names but went with the old fashioned names when it came down to it. I love Emalee, the spelling is cool but the name is classic. Just go with whatever you like.

My daughters name is Donna Sue, and if we have a boy later his name will be Blake Allan, and if we have another girl her name will be Julia Marie. My daughters name is my middle name, my grandmother who named me is also named donna and then the boy name is my last name and the middle name is a combination of my dads middle name and my fiances brothers middle name. It doesn't matter the name you choose as long as you like it and it helps if the name fits the child. I have heard all sorts of odd names but no matter what each name is special because you picked it for your child

My oldest girl is Elizabeth Tressa which isn't unique but when I tell the story of why that is her name, it makes it that way. (She was named after my grandmother who was brutally murdered when my dad was only 9 months old). Then we have the twins who are Daryan Jane and Kayley Nichole. I thought Daryan was different but now I hear the name everywhere!!

Good luck!!

I got Josiah from the Duggars. I love that name! I have/had 2 stepdaughters & they & the first 2 boys coincidentally have Biblical middle names, so I wanted to keep that going. I love coming up with names! I read somewhere that if you want to find out if the name works stand at your front door and scream it! LOL! Like you're calling the child. Their whole name won't be used often, but will be at special events like graduations, weddings, etc.

Quoting Stephanie :

I am a mother of three boys. My husband and I also like unique names. My first son is 5 and his name is Kash.

Our 6 month old is also named Cash (except with a 'C'). His full name is Cash Valentine Knowles. I originally wanted to name him Ryder, but my fiance said he didn't like that name (even though I love it), so a good friend of mine used it for her baby, who's now 10 weeks old. We had a really hard time getting our families to accept the name Cash, until he arrived, and then they embraced it! They all wanted us to go with something more traditional, but that's just not our style. My sister eventually got a tattoo that says "I love Ca$h" haha! And his uncle calls him "Cash money millionaire".

It is so fun to read all of the different names that everyone chose and why!

My 16 month old was named Gage Kalan. Gage is french for pledge (I'm french) and Kalan is short for Kalani is Hawaiin and means chief. Gage has come to be popular here but I still love it. The next baby I promised my fiance to name but I'll still have to influence him. I like different names as well...now adays different isnt so different. Since my fiance's last name is Mason (another popular name) I cant choose any of the names I like. I LOVE the name Jayden or Draven but it ryhmes too well with Mason I think and it doesnt roll of the tongue right. I'm VERY picky bout names. For girls I like Willow, Emmaline, Rayne, Delilah, Trinity, Rogue,Saphire (sah-fear-ey), Serket, Mannon(mah-naw..french name so hard to pronounce). Boys I like, Jayden, Lennox, Liam, Lelahnd, Orion, Grey, Gavin, Draven...

Before Isabelle was born i never heard of anyone calling their baby Isabelle and now all of a sudden I hear Isabelle or Isabella everywere but I like the name! If I would have another daughter I would like to call her Amelie, Olivia or Dominique. Olivia is pretty common here (UK) as well but I like it and it suit Isabelle!
