We've been using Avent, but they are only four ounces and my daughter is already drinking the full four and sometimes she needs more a feeding. We're going to be buying bigger bottles in the next couple weeks, we like the Avent, but they are expensive. What kind of bottles do you use?

I love the Breast Flow bottles from First Years because they have a two-part nipple that works like a real breast and they're scientifically proven to extend and encourage breastfeeding. so I always use those bottles especially with expressed breastmilk. For thin cereal or juice and water I use Avent but I also really like Mam.

After having the Dr. Browns which I loved with my first my second didn't like them at all...she would put the whole nipple in her mouth and her lips would hit the plastic part which she didn't like so I had to find the biggest nipples out there. Tommee Tippee (I think that's how you spell it) has great ones, they are silicone but very soft and they hold 9 ounces which she drank all of that. She is breastfed about 95% of the time and she seems to like this bottle.

I also used the NUK with my daughter. Only bottle she would take after being breastfed.

I used the NUK as well... have you looked online for the Avent bottles to see if you can get them cheaper?? My neighbor used them too, I think she had big bottles but she said they were definitely expensive. Good Luck

I use Nuk.. my son was breasted and that is the only bottle he will take, cause it is most like breast. Also the nipple is orthodontic, which is always a plus. They aren't that pricey and they come in 5 oz and 10 oz. Average priced! :) Hope this helps, good luck.

I use the cheap Gerber kind. You get 3 for like 2.99. They work great and I have never had any problems with them. As long as you use the Latex nipples not the silicone. The silicone nipples leak every where. Give them a try and if they work great and if they don't you only wasted $3. They come in 5oz and 9 oz bottles.
