Have you heard this song “Bones” by Ginny Blackmore on the radio? Sirius plays it all the time……such a powerful message for us ladies. Video knocks me out http://bit.ly/12q8NcE

Anything and everything! They'd listen to music mostly in the car when it's just our girls and me and I'd put on a range of stuff and sing along, sometimes they bop their heads or wriggle their bums in time sometimes they start singing. I haven't found anything they don't seem to like yet and hopefully they'll grow up to appreciate all music just like I did.

My kids both adore country, classic rock, rockabilly, some oldies, Irish music (traditional and also some rock), blues, jazz, and swing.

My 6-year-old is also really into hip hop. She got into that because the other girls on her cheerleading squad love it. Can't blame her. She likes to dance, and it's got a good beat! (We don't let her listen to songs that are dirty or profane, but there's a lot out there that aren't.)

We play what we usually listen to and as she expresses a preference we play more of what she likes. She loves Metallica (Daddy's influence) and Lady GaGa (from me). She really doesnt like slow song or white noise.

Sigh. Back in the day my daughter used to love rock, heavy and loud. Now she loves Hannah Montana and Taylor Swift, and yells at me if I am listening to my music. The only thing we can agree on is the Wiggles, as I have developed an appreciation for them since we saw them in concert last fall. Oh, and the Vince Guaraldi Trio, because Peanuts rocks!

I always have music playing in my house, It varies from pop/dance music, to kids songs to classical, my 20 month old little girl is very much into music... we always dance while cooking meals in the kitchen and cleaning up, and relax/nap time theres classical, and just during play time I put on kids songs, she loves to sing along to silly songs. :)

My daughter is 7 months old & I play Ghanian music. My husband is Ghanian and I think it's a great way for her to hear music from her culture! She bops her head in tune with the music too, so cute!
