When I tell friends about this moment I get a giggle or two. My baby would of been 3 or 4 months when I went to visit my mum. We spent the day hanging out and I was just relaxing on her couch...making the use of the time of my mum holding baby. Just when my husband came to pick me and baby to go home...my mum comes up to me and tells me "next time you come to my house wear a bra" and I go to my mum " I AM WEARING A BRA".....I find that some maternity bras are not that supportive just like grandmas.

Another one that might gross some ladies out...I was holding my baby (he would've been 8 months then) and felt something big and boogerish stuck up my nose. So while carrying my baby I got some tissue paper and blew my nose into it. I felt something come out, so I looked into the tissue paper to see what it was and stuff...and when I opened the tissue nothing was there! I'm like "huh...I felt my booger come out" so I'm looking around on my tshirt...my pants...on the ground...nothing. So I shrugged it off and just when I was about to leave the room I saw my ugly big booger...it was on my beautiful baby's cute clean little hand! Nearly died of a heart attack. Went and wiped it off baby and disinfected his little hand.

I have my sons room all baby proofed and all of his toys are in there so I will leave him in there to go do a chore and constantly check up on him, well.... the other day i had him in there and was doing something and he was banging around a while and then was quiet so I popped in to check and OMG! I could not do anything but crack up laughing and call my bf to the room...my almost 1yr old son was covered from head to toe in baby powder It was the funniest thing ever I swear I could be a spokes person for devious babies...my son will start to do something he knows is bad and turn around to see your reaction and laugh and do it again...he's an evil little monster but i love himfor it!! :)

LOL. Once I accidentally left the toilet door open and my 11 month old got in there and shoved toilet rolls and a can of air freshener in there and was standing there going BABABA and shoving it all down with the toilet brush. I actually laughed for about 10 minutes before I did anything.

im sorry to laugh about that because it is funny and someday you may laugh about it.... the truth is that i had that same feeling when she was little , i was a teen mom and had the worst fear that i would not make a good mom. and to top that all off i had a dream once when i was little and some shrink would probably tell me its issues with my parents but i had a dream that my mom forgot me at the grocery store one day and i was freaking out and crying and woke up crying when i was like 9 because of this dream i had..... so this is why i have to laugh a little.... and to make it sound better when ifirst had my daughter and was going back to school we had a daycare there and i almost left without her one day so as funny as it is

I don't think this one is funny one bit but my husband does. I've always, always had a worry that I would leave my son somewhere, at home when I left, the grocery store, etc. So everytime I'm driving down the road I have a habit looking in my mirror to make sure he is in his car seat (he is only 7months). One day I looked and he wasn't there. I slammed on the breaks, jerked across traffic, did an illegal u-turn and rushed home. I get home and was freaking out about what could have happened and all I got was a laughing husband. I had forgotten that I was going out for me time to get my eyebrows done while hub kept the baby.

the reason people dont find these things funny is because every parent is different..... my funniest mommy moment everyone tells me is so mean.......
when my daughter was maybe 3.5 or so we were going shopping.... she has always been very independent so she would be determined to walk everywhere and while on our shopping excursion we were walking through the Bay. my daughter was looking to her right at the purfumes and babbling away to the point where she was ignoring me and my mom. so when we warned her to watch where she was walking... she ignored us and continued to babble. well sure enough as she is amazed by these perfumes and not paying attention she walked into a sign... not just any sign, one of those big metal signs. while i felt really bad about it, it was the funniest thing in the world because she just kinda got startled and fell on her bum in the sitting position. she waited as all kids do for a reaction and when all she got was some giggles lol she started to cry in hopes of some sympathy. then to top that all off as if it wasnt funny enough (her delayed reaction) there was another customer walking by who thought we were the cruelest people ever because instead of making this huge deal about her walking into this large very bright and very hard to miss sign, we just laughed at her.... her crying lasted for about 2 mins before she stopped and i asked her if she was ok.
i have never been one to make a big deal about her minor injuries (of course if i thought she was really hurt i would not laugh at her) but my point is that you should be proud of your funny mommy moments because those will be the stories you tell their first dates or tell at their weddings. you dont tell stories of sadness or hurt.
