what shows do your pre-preschoolers watch?

Super Why is our life at home. He has an outfit and everything. he transforms and I have to call him Super Why. I also have a cape and mask and I turn into Supper Mommy. He sings the songs, pretends to fly, does his moves... He's hooked. I love it cause it uses his imagination and he knows his ABC's. He's starting to know words.. We also love Mickey Mouse Club house as well.. But Super Why is his hero!

My son is is 28 months old and right now his favourite shows are Curious George, Toot and Puddle (HIS FAVOURITE) and Little Bear. I must say though that before I introduced him to ones that I could enjoy also and that did not rip out my brain and stomp on it, he used to love Yo Gabba Gabba, or In the Night Garden etc... from Treehouse tv.

For their waking up tv they watch Yo Gabba Gabba or Mickey Mouse Play House. We had cartoons on a lot in our house and then one Saturday my husband and I realized that the only people watching them was us lol! So now it's one show when they first wake up.

We have a few banned shows in our house. Max and Ruby I hate because she's so bossy. Also where are their parents? Really, Children and Families Ministry really needs to step in for such an obvious case of neglect. The fact that all the adults (i.e. the Grandma) condones the absence of the parents to the point that the daughter is raising a child with obvious speech delays is horrible! Who looks out for these kids? Sponge Bob because he's pretty whiny and annoying and really makes me want to stab my eyes out. What takes the cake though is Caillou - He is so whiny, rude, and the parents are so lazy, they never correct his behaviour and use a car seat from 30 years ago - I can't imagine that that kind of child endangerment should be condoned. Not to mention the fact that their kid has no hair (at 4) and there doesn't seem to be any concern about that. And the kids voice is like nails on a blackboard. It makes me want to reach through the screen and slap him silly (not that I'm condoning child abuse, but he's awful). I don't mind the Veggie tales, In the Night Garden, Diego (not Dora), or the Backyardigans.

I'm pretty picky about tv time, but my almost 2 year old loves backyardigans, busy town mysteries and word world. He watches a couple other PBS type cartoons too but those are his favorites

my 2 yr old son LOVES yo gabba gabba, it was the theme for his 2nd birthday. he also loves wow wow wubbzy and team umi zumi (they REALLY need new episodes i've seen them all like 5 times already). my 5 yr old daughter likes the upside down show, spongebob, and lately icarly.

My daughter just turned 2 and my son is 9 months old. THey love YO GABBA GABBA so much I have bought all of the dvds and we even have the car cd! I know at least a few times a day I catch myself singing at least one of the 50 songs I know from the show. Bailey has to watch a eposide a day or she will throw a huge fit. I am a little upset though because it seems in Arizona you can only buy yo gabba stuff online and it sucks!

My son is 14 and a half mths old his absolute favorite is Yo Gabba Gabba, he also enjoys Ni Ho Kilan (sry I think I spelled that wrong), The upside down show, The Wonder pets, and is now getting into Umizoomi. My husband and I often find ourselves singing the catchy songs form yo gabba gabba! My personal favorite "My family"

My two boys (aged 3 yrs and 18 months) love peppa pig, timmy time, bob the builder, special agent oso and mickey mouse clubhouse. I know the theme tunes to them all, all the character names and i'm sure i sing their tunes in my sleep lol

We like Handy Manny and Charlie and Lola. Now that she is 5 I have banned Night Garden, Waybuloo (uughhhh!!!) and other youngish kid shows. We also enjoy watching Wizards of Waverly Place even though the main character is a spoiled brat, it's pretty funny.

My little guy LOVES Spongebob Squarepants. He's 2, so he doesn't get the adult humour in it but I do. He's a hyper one though, so the shows are usually on for background noise while he runs around terrorizing.

I hadn't seen anyone mention that their kids like Little Einsteins. This show teaches them about musical terms and instruments, along with showing them real art pieces and letting them explore real places. It's on Playhouse Disney... the last show of the morning. For me, it comes on at 12:30 (mountain) and we watch it during lunch and that is the prelude to her nap. She also loves Dora and most anything else on Playhouse Disney (she likes watching the monkeys LOL)

Oh my son loves, Bob the Builder, Thomas the Train, Sid the science kid and super why! He also LOVES Elmo! I could probably sing every theme sang for all of these shows. And the girls I babysit like to watch iCarly, and I actually find myself watching it and kinda getting into it...lol

my 20 month old daughter LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba. she also likes Dora and Sesame Street a lot. i get the wiggle song from Yo Gabba Gabba stuck in my head pretty often lol. she's also a huge fan of older Disney movies like The Little Mermaid, The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast. we also have the soundtracks to all 3 of those movies and she loves it when i sing along with them. she gets all excited and says "Mommy sing Ariel (or Belle or kitty cats)" lol.

My 3 1/2 year old son loves pretty much all of the shows on Nick jr. (Dora, Diego, UmiZoomi, Blue's Clues, Backyardigans). I also like having him watch Sprout (which also has a lot of educational shows kids love). I try not to let him sit in front of the TV all day and get active in his education too.

Oh Gosh! I can probably quote EVERY word from EVERY Dora or Diego show. Lets just say Thank God for Netflix!! Because when there is something that I want to watch on T.V. or the weekend when Dora doesnt come on so much & and I wanna get some cleaning done, Netflix plays Dora episodes and has been a real life saver!!

My two year old is so obsessed with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!! Every morning when he wakes up "Mouse" is the first word out of his mouth...even before he sits up! It is so cute! We were watching Basketball yesterday and I swore that the mascot of the team was the "mouseketeers" here it was the "musketeers" LOL everyone got a big kick out of that! My boyfriend has even woken me up in the middle of the night cause i was singing the Hot Dog song in my sleep!!! So no you are NOT alone!!

My boys also watch yo gabba gabba, they know all the characters names, all the songs, and so do we. My kids also love ni ho kilan (SP) not sure if i spelled that right! But my kids and i know how to say every thing they say in chinese!! there are many more shows than this, we always watch cartoons with them too! :)

My youngest, almost 3, likes yo gaba gaba but doesn't really ask for it. The shows she BEGS for are Sesame Street, Word World, Super Why, and Signing Time. She also loves to on PBSKids.org and play the Super Why: Alpha Pig game LOL. She's gotten computer savvy pretty quick and navigates most of PBSKids on her own. My 8 YO ( i know not preschool) loves Kai Lan, and Signing Time, and my 9 1/2 YO will watch NatGeo, History, or Disc ALL DAY if I don't stop him.

Lol, yep I'm in the same boat! My Son will be 2 next month and he loves Spongebob Squarepants! I know the whole opening song by heart, Lol! He also loves Caillou and I know that song too. And Handy Manny. My daughter is 4 and she loves Care Bears which I know that song by heart also Dora and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Wow know that I am actualy thinking about how many kids cartoon songs I know it is realy very funny! I just keep thinking of more and more, LOL!!!!! Kids are the greatest!

We don't have Cable, but we do have Netflix and we love it (no Commercials :P) also we watch:

*Believe it or not he actually will watch the entire Star Wars movies he loves them! and his stuffed Yoda lol

My 15 Month Old LOVES The Wiggles! Not the new ones though (he perfers the ones with Greg instead of Sam) We have almost every dvd & a few vhs (from years ago when my nephews were young) & I know pretty much every song. He even can dance with them & do the same actions... it's pretty adorable to watch him & he loves when I dance with him =)

I put on the Sprout channel for my son. It has the Wiggles, the old version of Sesame Street (personally believe the old shows are way better than the new ones). He absolutely loves Dragon Tales too !

Our Tivo is full of Yo Gabba Gabba and The upside down show. My husband and I wake up signing Yo Gabba Gabba ALL the time. I think the writers of both of those shows are personally smoking something but My son LOVES them!!

Both my kids would watch any cartoon if I let them. They love the lil pieces of king of the hill they catch their dad watchin but they aren't allowed to watch it. I'm so mean. They love word world (which has actually taught them a lot) and chuggington. Thank goodness someone finally revamped thomas my son LOVED him but I thought it was aweful. Chuggington is so much better! And when they r lucky enough for me to leave the tv on they love show after show no matter what it is.

Yo Gabba Gabba, Thomas, Wonder Pets, Dinosaur Train, Sid the Science Kid, Blue's Clues, Sesame Street, Nihao Kai-lan, Go Diego Go, Umi Zoomi, Fresh Beat Band, Backyardigans, Pinky Dinky Doo, Bob the Builder - Nicky's got a whole bunch of shows he likes. I find myself busting out into songs from those shows, sometimes I've caught myself picking one of those shows to watch when I'm by myself LOL (the only adult shows I really watch on a regular basis are Heroes and Parenthood), making up my own versions of the songs (the song they sing at the end of Elmo's World is easy - pick a word and sing it over again to the tune of Jingle Bells). Lately I haven't been able to get "Into the Deep" from the Backyardigans stuck in my head and can't get it out - I even am starting to memorize the choreography from the show lol.
