My son has an aug. birthday and we always have a swim party because we put an inground pool in a few years ago. But if you don't have access to a pool, you could put out the baby pools and sprinklers. For food, we always just grill hambergers and hot dogs and have like a veggie and fruit platter. It's also fun to make homeage ice cream. They have the ones now that are in balls and you kick and htrow them around to make the ice cream. Kids have a blast with that!

have a dress up party... pirates and princesses, favourite character etc... you could hire a bouncy castle or a balloon artist. Or if the birthday is going to be during the colder months you could check out some indoor play centres and what their prices are. I am going to have my daughters 2nd bday party in the indoor play centre near my house it has a bouncy castle inside. goodluck

My little girl loved balloons so we filled the lounge room with them and invited family over and let them play with the balloons! A great time was had by all!

You could do something just as simple what does your toddler love to do the most?
