Ok so Im 21 and I still live with my parents I have a 3 year old little boy and im 6 almost 7 months pregnant with another little boy I currently don't have a job so I can't move but the question is has anyone ever had to share a room with 2 kids? Like what if the infant wakes up crying in the middle of the night will it wake up my 3 year old?

My kids are 3 years and 4 months apart and even though my oldest had his own room he sometimes slept with us and once the younger one was older we moved her into his room. He got used to the baby waking up and can sleep through her, even now that she is 2.5 he can sleep through her yelling like a banchie.

Ok cause I mean my toddler has his own bed so he won't be in the bed with me I don't have enough room for a crib so I will be sleeping with the infant in my bed its big enough for us to spread out (THANK GOD FOR KING SIZE LOL) but I just hope everything will work out

Just a little friendly advice! Hopefully the room is bigger. I was in an accident that forced us to be homeless, we all were in a room too, I spread a childs tent out they loved it, I loved it we all got some sort of privacy.

Yes it will. I hate going away and having to share the room with my husband and both kids. No one sleeps very well. Not to scare you or anything.

My son was 4 when my daughter was born and was still sleeping in our room, the baby was in our room for the first couple of weeks, and yes he woke up when the baby woke up crying. We had to transition him back into his own room so he wouldn't be moody and sleep deprived during the day.

I am also kind of in the same boat. We live in a one bedroom apt. (my husband, my 2 yr old and myself). i am 39 weeks pregnant. We had to move from our 2 bedroom for a few reasons, but mostly because our neighbours were addicts and kept us up day and night. so this all we could find in a hurry. i too think about how i will manage with my 2 yr old and a new born. my little one sleeps through the night ( at least 10 hrs straight) and takes naps some days (usually 2 hrs). i just think that this baby is going to be a new member and there will be an adjustment period for everyone, including our first born. we have tried explaining how babies act and what this newborn will be doing. i think the hardest part will be keeping the 2 yr old in her crib becuase i will be breastfeeding and co sleeping with the baby during that time. i think we are both in for long nights of watching disney movies. goodluck!
