Whats the best formula when switching from breast milk to formula??

Last week my daughter went for her 2 month check up and they said she wasnt gaining enough weight fast enough. She weighed 6lbs 7 oz at birth and 9 lbs 14 oz at 2 months. They told me to start giving her half breast milk and half formula. I was using good start for sensitive stomachs but people tell me thats not a good enough brand. But I took her back to the dr today and she gained 13 oz in 9 days since i started doing half and half. So what is the best formula thats good for breast feeding babies???

Similiac NeoSure it is high in protein and helps with gaining weight.. My daughter was 3 pounds 11 ounces at birth. She came home from the hosp a month later and weighed 5 pounds 9 ounces

I would ask the doctor about it. Usually if your child is doing well on a certain formula, there is no reason to change. The only real reason to change formula is if they are having problems with the formula. I use Similac Advanced with Early Shield, and my son does really well on that, but if your daughter is doing well and not having tummy troubles, I would say don't change because she might have problems with other formulas.

You should be fine with the Good Start formula. There's nothing wrong with that brand. I personally preferred that kind over the others. There's not many differences between the different kinds to start with, but the Good Start doesn't smell nearly as bad as the others do. And its cheaper :)
