I used Palmer's Cocoa Butter Oil and I recieved no stretch marks! I'm a small woman, only 61 inches tall. When I was pregnant I measured 52 inches around! I was almost as big around as I was tall! I rubbed the oil on my belly every night after my shower.

I know the strech mark not good looking kind of thing on ur/our body for females but eventlly we get them no matter what for full-term preggy. But i use cocoa butter lotion when i was in preggy & lil afterwards too. But just think of it has a special mark as u give gifts from god of ur kids. :o)

I heard it was heredity too, my mum only got a few and so far I've been lucky up unitl 37 weeks.
I have been using Bio Oil and stopped using it for a few weeks when i ran out and got attacked by stretch marks on my bum! I've since covered myself in Bio Oil everyday and so far so good. Make sure you don't forget your hips and bum because they are secretly growing too so i just found out!! I know a lot of people that recommend Bio Oil... Good Luck

I used a lotion from Bath & Body Works called Lay it on Thick...its a thick shea butter lotion. I used it every night and put it on really thick and didn't get any stretch marks.

There is no way to prevent them sorry. No matter what you read, stretch marks are more heredity than anything. You either get them or you dont. If your mom got them you probably will too.

I dunno if it actually helps prevent them or not but I've been using Curel Life's Stages pregnancy & motherhood lotion this go around. It could be to the fact that I've already had 3 kids too and my skin has been stretched before but it could be the lotion. I know this is the only one where I haven't had any new stretch marks and I'm due in 2 1/2 weeks. =)
