Right now! You can buy tooth & gum cleaner, Baby Orajel makes it. It comes with a rubber "toothbrush" that you put on your finger. Just clean her teeth & gums with it after she eats, especially at night & before she goes to bed. Probably around a year, I started using a 'real' toddler toothbrush & baby toothpaste on my son. Good luck! Hope this helps!

Start as soon as they come up. Really you can start brushing the gums when they start eating food so they get used to it. My son is 2.5yrs and is obsessed with brushing his teeth lol. Don't use tooth paste until they are over 2 i do believe. All you need is water on the baby brush and it's fine. Ask your child's Dr and they will tell you what they suggest. There is fluoride in tooth paste and it's not good for kids, even if it's kid paste you buy it can still contain small amounts and a child this age doesn't know to spit out the paste and will swallow it.

I would wait to actually "brush" there teeth because you want to watch how much floride toothpaste they swallow. I was told to use a wet baby washcloth on your finger and just "wash" his/her teeth to clean them. And also clean his/her gums the same way. I hope this helped

you can start brushing them now - get a beginner baby toothpaste (gerber makes a good one that has zero flouride) and just put a tiny dot on the tip of a brush. my son is 7 months and his his first one through and second one is starting and i've been doing his since they came in.

you can definitely start now! i started my first boy when he got his first tooth...and my second when he was teething as it relieved his pain. they have baby toothbrushes and toothpaste at any store you go to. my boys both LOVE brushing their teeth...so i do it first to make sure they get clean and then i give them the toothbrush (while i am right there with them) and let them do it themselves.
