I gave my 3 yr old a pillow at birth because he didn't like a flat surface. I just made sure he had his head to the side or he was laying on his side

they say no pillows due to suffocation, however, as long as the pillow is small/firm i don't see it being an issue. my son has had stuffed animals with him in his pack-n-play and when i moved him to his big boy bed (at 10 or 11 months) he got a regular sized pillow that was firm and he loves it!!! as long as your little one can move her head on her own when sleeping i think she will be fine to have a pillow

try a crib wedge. she might just like the angle that the pillow gives her and a crib wedge goes underneath the mattress

We were told the same thing that they shouldnt have one till ther one, however my son wouldnt go to sleep with out one due to having a mcus problem when he was born, and hes always had one ever since, granted we had an angel care monitor with the mat to detect breathing, we never had any problems and he still loves his pillow.

recommended age two. cause if she happens to roll into it in the middle of the night and not realize she could smother herself. um try a really small terddy bear. my first daughter just started using a pillow and shes 3. i hope this helps you

I would be wary of it but as my husband says I'm overprotective. I have a two year old and we are thinking about changing his crib to a toddler bed but I'm afraid bc he is all over the place when he sleeps. As for you little one, I like what the other mom wrote about putting it in there until she falls asleep and then taking it out.

My 7 month old loves sleeping with a pillow so we let him fall asleep with it but as soon as he does we take it away, My son rolls alot and loves to sleep on his tummy and most of the time when he rolls he shoves his face into the pillow which is scary for even a second. I personally wouldnt leave him with the pillow for the night I think it's too dangerous
