my son loves his food and i'm just wondering when to give him meat my mum says when he gets his back teeth but he wants to eat what we eat and he is only 11mths and 3 weeks.

my lil girl has been ating meat since she was 6 months, the 2nd sept baby foods out there have pureed meat in them and its no different then regular meat.....I think if your baby has teeth and knows how to chew then they will be fine to eat meat! Good luck!

My 8 month old has been having meat for a couple months now.. i pureed it in his food before he got a couple teeth, now I chop it real fine and make sure the meat is cooked real well.

I started weaning my little girl when she was 5 months old and started introducing meat when she was 6months old. I just pureed it with the veg, but as she is now 9month old i just cook it and then strip the meat and add to her food making sure that it isnt to big. Hope that helps xx

My 9mth old has been sucking on chunks of meat for a couple mths now. Its always really well cooked so its tender and i just keep a close eye on him. He loves it.

yes its fine my lil one was sucking on a offf cut of meat lol that sounds funny but a strip and make sure yeah its realy well cooked :)

i give my 15 month old meat as long as it is chopped up he does really well with it i also give hime the pasta pick ups that way he can eat with his hands because pureed food doesnt do it for him any more.
