With my second (she is 2 months now) it seemed to take a long time before I was really showing, I think around 6-7 months is when I seemed to get bigger and when I would tell people how far along I was they would always say how small I looked. For me it was a good thing because I didn't end up with any stretch marks! Your baby may be closer to your back too, that may be why your not too big yet.

I didn't start showing until I was at the end of month 6 begining month 7. I wasn't skinny/ wasn't fat either so I know how you feel. I was desperate for my belly! I just looked chunky to most people. I actually bought one of those "I'm not fat I'm pregnant" shirts to make me feel better.

So hang in there, I promise it's on it's way. (Along with massive swollen feet and backache.)

I didn't start showing noticeably until around 6 months, and even then it wasn't that much. I'm 7.5 months now and people still say that I barely look pregnant at all. I just recently started wearing maternity clothes. A lot of my pre-pregnancy clothes still fit me, so I guess that's the plus side to not getting really big- you won't have to spend a ton of money on maternity clothes.

Hello, its nice to know other's are in the same spot as me, I am 31 weeks pregnant with my first. I am 5,6 and pre pregnancy weight of 135, I now weigh 152. I barely have a bump its almost not noticeable at all. I went to my family Dr and he had thought I had already delivered... Wierd I know. But I feel her moving consistently and she feels very strong. Im just worried about her being small or something being wrong. I guess ill just have to wait and see what my Dr says next week. I am measuring at 28 cm also. But you can barely see a bump

With my son, I was the exact same way you were...I really didn't show at all until my 8th month then all of a sudden I popped out. I am currently 29 weeks along with my 2nd child, and you can only tell if I am wearing a t-shirt...So far I have only gained 15 lbs this pregnancy. The last 2 weeks I started to get a little more of the "bump"...It depends on how you are carrying your baby. I carry low in my hips and in my back. My sisters carried high and up front. They both were showing big time by they were 15 weeks along.

I actually never started showing (much). I was at a funeral 2 weeks before my daughter was born and had I not told my family I was pregnant they wouldn't have known. I only gained 15 lbs through the whole pregnancy. My daughter was 7 lbs at birth and when I had her I weighed 160 lbs...I ate everything in sight just didn't gain much weight.

Usually after the half way mark you start to balloon out alot... I know I did but I was very much all baby when I was prego with both of my kids. You have to remember also that sometimes the baby's carry back instead of in the front so you'll look smaller then what someone who's carrying out in front would look like. Don't worry you'll get that belly bump soon enough. ^.^

I am a voluptuous girl and i started showing around 10 weeks but i am also really short so that might contribute to that. By months people were saying "haven't you had that baby yet?" I was HUGE!! So i think everybody is different but it will happen. You will be waddling around wondering why you wanted to be bigger lol : )

i didn't start showing with my first child until i was 27 weeks.it worried me because i was really young and scrawny.the doctor told me i carry internally, and people like me almost never show until their sixth month.i started showing at 23 weeks with my second child and i started showing at 15 weeks with my third(but didn't get big until 29 weeks)even at my biggest i was still smaller than most of the pregnant moms i saw and had to correct almost everyone around me with how far along i was.so dont worry too much,as long as your baby is healthy and gaining the proper amount...its all gravy.but if you are like me...be careful...you will seem to grow over night and stretch marks may appear! just remember every pregnancy is different and you will show at different times.so what may be true once, may be entirely different the next.take care

I didn't start showing until I was about 7.5 months :-\ I was really sad about it for a looong time. I'm a pretty small woman (85 lbs and 5 foot 3) and when I was pregnant unless I was stanging sideways you couldn't tell I was pregnant even at the end. When I went to the hospital and went to the desk to sign in (induced) the nurses just stared at me because I didn't "look" very pregnant. I really never got the whole progression that most mothers got. I guess the trade off for not looking pregnant is that I left the hospital and didn't look like I had a baby :-\

Do I remember those days! Let's see, when I was naked my bump became obvious around 5 months or so. But with clothes on people still didn't notice for another month or so. I was 8 months at an Italian restaurant and our waitress offered me a glass of wine! My belly was hiding under the table I guess. It wasn't till the last few weeks that strangers started asking me when I was due. So hang in there cause once that belly puts the weight on you, you may wish it was that cute private bump no one noticed but you! Congrats :)

It seems like I was showing as soon as the blood test came back positive. I'm overweight so that probably contributed plus I don't exercise-ever. I think in reality I was showing about 5 1/2 months. It's kind of hard to remember 4 1/2 years later.

I can still sleep on my tummy! its a bit strange and dishearting beacause i love looking pregnant but I know my lil boy is healthy inside me so I try not to worry to much!
Give it a few more weeks and I'm sure your bump wil appear! Good Luck!! x

I'm a big girl, and I had twins. I started showing (in tight clothes only) at about 10 weeks. By the time that I was 22 weeks, people were thinking that I was "ready to pop". Then I told them that they were twins, and they said never mind, I was tiny. At about 33 weeks, I heard the comments,"Now you look like you're having Twins" As much as I loved being pregnant, I started to hate the little coments about how big I was. I worked as a waitress until I was 8 months. People would say stupid things like "wow, you don't even need a tray. You can carry everything on your belly". Some people can be extremely dumb sometimes. I would enjoy being small as long as possible. You know that your pregnant, and that is all that really matters. When you feel your little bundle move in side of you, it's such an awesome feeling that nothing else matters.

Dont be in such a rush to get that baby bump!!!! :P Your going to get to the point where you are always knocking things over with your belly, and when your belly starts to get REALLY big, then you wont even be able to sleep at night!!!! :P :P :P I started showing at 4 months, and by the time I was almost at the end, my belly looked like I was having TWINS!! :P I was HUGE!!!! I know that if you really want to show off your belly while you bun is still in the oven, shirts that have an empire waist really show off your new figure!!!! Good luck with everything!!! :) :) :)

i think i started REALLY showing about 15-18 weeks but ya know there are some women out there who dont show through the ENTIRE pregnancy. have you ever seen that show i didnt know i was pregnant.. those women went the whole time with out even KNOWING they were prego.. so you might not show at all or you'll completely EXPLODE twords the end

[deleted account]

I went up to 6 months without buying maternity clothes. I did not gain any weight though, with complications I ended up losing weight the first trimester and never gaining it back until my last few weeks. It depends on each child and person's body. I am now pregant with my second child and I gave up my jeans at 7 weeks (still not gaining weight though)

I slowly grew and didnt end up REALLY popping out until around the 8th month....then I was HUGE (in my eyes haha) Every woman's body is different, you might be one of the lucky ones who barely shows & is back to normal walking outta the hospital :P

When I had my son people didn't think I was pregnant al all unless they knew me. It just depends sometimes women don't show as much.

At about 25 weeks I all of a sudden popped. I was tiny before and then over Christmas break last year came back to work clearly a pregnant women. My co-workers were stunned. I know your anxious to grow, but by the end of it I was so sick and tired of waddling and having nothing to wear. I know you will hear it all the time, but enjoy what you have now. You little guy is your little secret. As soon as you pop everyone will be trying to touch your belly.

I didn't show until I started my 6th month of pregnancy. Depends how fit you are and how strong your abdomen muscles are. usually first pregnancies you are smaller anyway. Im not a heavy girl either. I only weighed 125 lbs when I got pregnant. I never had to wear maternity clothes... my little girl was happy and healthy at 7lbs 2oz.

I am 25 weeks today and I still haven't really started to show. I am bigger too and still kind of have the stacked belly area. My hubby started noticing about 2 months ago but I still don't have a cute little belly. It just looks like I gained weight. I do although waddle (to try to offset the sciatic nerve pain) which my family thinks is just hilarious! It's great! They say that I will eventually start to show. Also, in my family, girls tend to hide more than boys. When my mom was pregnant with my brother, she looked ready to pop at 4 months but with me she didn't show until she was almost 8 months. He was of course a 9 lb little boy and I was only 7 but still. It will happen! try to be patient. It is sooo much easier said than done. Good luck!
