try the dermaplast spray... it will help them heal and numb a little after you spray. from my understanding is that they are just like vericose vains. they can also flair up from over doing yourself!

I'm also under the impression that they way shrink but never go away on their own. I got several with my daughter (I pushed for 2 1/2 hrs) and they were almost more painful than my 3rd degree tear! That was 11 weeks ago and they no longer give me any problems. My doctor told me the only way to get rid of them is to have surgery, which they don't recomment until you've finished having children as they would just come back again with a subsequent pregnancy. So definitely see your doctor is they're still flaring up.

My son is five and sometimes mine flare up. I think they are always there :( but hopefully you can find a remedy or treatment to ease them!
Fingers crossed :)

go see a dr. they won't go away on their own! I had many, many removed by laser which is totally painless. I got more w/#2, but they don't bother me so I'm waiting to have them removed. Never heard of inserts. I just used OTC cream which worked great. Hope you find relief! lol.

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong but I was always under the impression that hemorrhoids don't ever go away, like varicose veins. I think the only thing you can do is put ointment on them to reduce swelling and discomfort. If it really hurts, you should talk to your doctor about it. I only have a small one and it doesn't give me trouble.
