My 10 month old got the Your baby can Read program for Christmas, and has been using it for a couple of weeks now. The program seems to be one that might actually work (just from how it is set up) with time and consistency. My son watches the dvd without a problem, and he shows interest in the flashcards as well. I know that it will take time and patience to see results, but I was wondering if any other moms out there have tried this program with their kids and if so, did it pay off? And if it did, how often did you use it, and how long before you saw any results. I'm not expecting my son to read novels in 6 months, but I would like to know that he will be able to recognize the words, and know what they mean!
Oh and my son watches the dvd every morning while he eats breakfast, and we do the flash cards in the afternoon, after his nap!
