Anyone know what goes on for the 26-28 week appt? My doctor never tell me what to expect, can anyone help me out and give me a heads up?

There is nothing special about this appointment it is the same as all the rest. You may have your urine checked for protein and the babies heart beat listened to, measurements of your stomach taken. They do not need any more blood unless there is a problem that needs looking at. Dont worry about it.
At 32 weeks you may have to go to the doctors every 2 weeks from then on, and then from 36 weeks once a week. This is totally normal.

Dont know where you are but usually this app is where they just check you and the baby are ok, measure and listen to heart beat, they may send you for blood work to make sure your sugar is good and just check reg bloods, can talk about getting your birth plan in place. It usually pretty basic for most visit but feel free to ask any question your having and I find take a notebook and write your questions down as I forget alot while in the office then remember once I'm out!!! Hope that helps
