Hi. I am 23yrs old. Had my baby boy when i was 22. He was born 7/6/09 so he has just turned 7mths old. Am loving mummyhood however i dont really have many friends, i moved here from Perth a couple of years ago now and didnt really get the chance to get out there and meet anyone.
:( I live Nth Burleigh on the Gold Coast. Anyone out there around the same area?? with the same probs?? wuld love to hear from you!! Im planning on joining a playgroup also, so any tips or suggestions would b great too!!?!!
also, what do u do with your lil ones all day, everyday?? haha

YAY ur both in the same area as me!! thats cool.

I am trying out a playgroup in burleigh on monday so i will

let u both know how it goes if u like or mayb u mite want to come too?!?!

they range from 0-4yrs so ur babies r always old enough to come along..

seeing as we r close to each other the three of us can maybe go to a near by park or go for a walk along beach or somethin with our bubs sometime!!.

sorry fiona i missed ur post, missed the catch up u had on weds.. hope it went well!!

i met a few mums earlier in the week, was really good!!

look forward to meeting u both sometime.

Hi Sahra, I moved to the Gold coast a few years ago from Bathurst NSW. My daughter was born in august last year and i too dont have many friends on the Gold Coast. it is a very hard place to make friends i must admit. I live in Palm Beach so not too far from you. I haven't even thought about play group yet so sorry cant help you out there.

Hi Sahra, I'm at Mermaid Beach - my bub, Emylee, was born on the 8th October 2009 - she's just over 3 months old. I don't know if she's old enough to join a playgroup yet, but if you find one in our area let me know :)

So far I've met one Mummy from this site and will be meeting another Mummy next Wednesday. If you're free next Wednesday (20th) we are meeting at The Pines at 11am.
